Denver vs the Lakers 1st playoff game today and it was 6 FTA for Denver and 19 for Lakers. This is starting to get blatantly obvious.

The NBA actually takes 1% of all money bet on NBA games from sports books. The Lakers games are the most bet on team in the league. You do the math.

The NBA is a business, they can’t live off hardcore fans only, they need casuals to come into it and the way to do that is to get the most popular players and teams into the playoffs. Sorry, this isn’t the sports industry, this is entertainment.

Its obviously rigged not only do they show favoritism to teams with free throws, but also restrict free throws to specific stars like Steph curry. That -646 stat is absolutely crazy, if that doesnt show a bias in refereeing i don't know what will.

its crazy cause there's some calls where the other players doesn't even touch them and they call a foul, whats makes it more annoying is seeing them celebrate the foul call like if they just made a tough bucket

Also worth noting that FG attempts are not counted if someone gets fouled in the act of shooting and misses the shot.

Very eye-opening!! And whats even worse, is that with the 6-foul limit, many teams and players have to play weaker/less aggressive defense to avoid getting fouled out of the game.

Something similar happened here in Spain when it was discovered that Barcelona had bribed the referees comittee vicepresident. It all became public when some dudes on twitter made excel sheets about the disparities in officiating that favored Barcelona in an obscene manner.
