Ollantaytambo, a vast complex located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas northwest of Cusco, is renowned for its exceptionally precise megalithic polygonal masonry. Among its most remarkable structures is the Temple of the Sun, known for its impressive stonework, which includes massive slabs of pink granite intricately carved and perfectly aligned. These stone blocks, weighing between 50 and 70 tons each, are so precisely fitted together that not even a sheet of paper can slide between them. Astonishingly, these blocks were transported from a different mountain, across a plain and a river, and then up the mountain to Ollantaytambo. The precision, scale, and transportation of these stone blocks demonstrate an advanced level of technological and engineering sophistication, leading some to believe that such capabilities were beyond the reach of the Incas at that time

Even Inca say that they found those constructions. Inca building techniques are totally different from the previous building. Why is it so hare to accept that there was previous civilization that was able to construct those structures. Sadly, most of the constructions were destroyed and we can't even imagine what they were used for. Also, it is impossible to determine how old are those constructions.
  • Who knows how they moved the giant stones. All we know is that they must of moved them because they are there.

all Spanish conquistadors were amazed by the wall they saw, they asked them if they build this walls and how, they said their gods made it. I think they found it and reused it. Even today we would have deep trouble to lift 100 ton stones up this steep hills, like in Machu Pichu etc.
  • They were built by the Nefilim. Every ancient texts says it. Solomon built a city by controlling the powers of the Nefilim. The writing is on the wall😂 No pun intended.

I wonder if those water mirror pools were for earthquake detection.
  • In the past people would do things that we do not know today. When the library at Alexanander was burned, 99% of all human art/science was lost. When Spanish arreved in Americas they destroyed almost the Native American techonolgly/writing , buildings aslo the buliders and craftmen who created them. They could use Sun light to make fire and cut down huge blocks of rocks. There ere just Sarmans but scientist and engineers. They knew mathamatics and chemistry, how to grow crops that fit the areas.

If I was a billionaire, I’d probably have a monument made just to mess with the minds of future archaeologists….

THIS WAS CREATED BEORE THE FLOOD OF NOAH WITH THE USE OF GIANTS AND LOST HIGH TECHNOLOGY. THESE GIANTS HAD SUPERIOR INTELLECT
  • If all this was ab0ut around 10-15 thousand years ago with the metal lock showing in it, why is it that it one in Vietnam that has a metal lock too, was around about million year old according to other archeologist..

If the Inkas were able to build it, they would be far more advanced as the Spanish, they could have defended itself against the Spanish, bcs their cannon would have achieved nothing against this walls! but don't forget, that what works for 10 tons, doesn't mean it works for 100 tons too, and beside moving, the Lifting of the blocks is another big problem!
  • I don’t like how you guys casually failed to note that the only thing that could cut those structures were diamond because of the hardness of said stones
  • if you have 2 bricks and you put it on each other. It's not possible to put paper in between.

i think the simple and most easiest to tolerate answer is that they knew how to make concrete or geopolymer preferably that gets stronger w reaction of chemicals found on any beach, we still have the books and people use, who do you think repairs all the statues? museums etc.
  • Very large humans built many of the worlds most incredible ancient sites

when i spent some time in mexico, they were putting in a sewer line in my dads "rancho". Everybody family in the rancho had their allotted tram of digging. so one family would dig for maybe ten to twenty feet and then the next family would take over, till it ran all across the rancho whereby changing it to a colonia. What if every family was expected to craft their own block and place it. Cooperation in the old times was cccrrrrray cray.
