Imagine if your family’s stability relied on the Wii U
-
Mom and dad have been smiling and laughing, and they haven't beaten me in weeks
-
The baby game is called “Come on Baby 2,” meaning not only did someone make a violent baby mini game collection, but then they did it again.
-
"with mario kart my older sister and little brother are actually getting along" uhhh are we playing the same mario kart
-
If this is the American Dunkey, I wonder what the Japanese version would be like.
-
That Wii U ad from America is kind of sad. The parents didn't smile before, wonder what else was going on?
-
I had a stroke when that Japanese crash bandicoot ad started playing
-
“There’s something weird going on with my family... Mom and Dad are actually smiling and having fun”
-
Can we talk for a second about the American Wii U ad being the narration of a middle child who finds it odd that the rest of his family is getting along, all while being excluded from the activity that is bringing them together? He never once speaks to his own experience with the game or the system, just the rest of his family. I'm picturing a neglected red headed step child scenario here where the family doesn't let him use the Wii U because he'll get his cooties on it, so he just has to watch them have fun from a distance.

"My big sister and younger brother are actually getting along!" So wait... who the fuck is the kid?
-
Girl's locker room: (English advertisement) Boy's locker room: (Japanese advertisement)
-
Dunkey 2017: "Why is there a dog fighting game?" Dunkey 2020: plays Tekken as a bear
-
This happens when you nuked a country twice.
-
That ad is very deceptive. Mario Kart does NOT make you get along with other people.
-
"Mom likes playing with the new items" yeah im sure she does.
-
that construction fighting game.... I NEED IT.
-
i love dunkey because he's white
-
I went to Japan for two weeks and honestly I just wanted to stay in the hotel and watch commercials because they are 100% like this it's not hyperbole. Japan is amazing.
-
Fun fact: the song played during the Japanese Crash Bandicoot commercial is “ALIEN” by Maximum the Hormone, who also did the second Death Note opening. Just thought that was interesting.

In Japan, everything is a Terry Crews' Old Spice ad.
