Probably the most straight singing of the anthem I've heard in a very long time. Usually you can barely recognize it when most will use far too much vocal acrobatics. She has a pretty voice and did a solid performance.

I thought this was a great rendition! The orchestral accompaniment complimented her rendition very well. She didn’t have huge runs, and she sang it clean and very well! Maybe too slow a bit, but it matched the emotion of the closing ceremonies. 🇺🇸

It's a little wild seeing the hate comments lmfao. So pretty much what I learned is that if you sing it a little slow, you aren't Whitney Houston (the goat) or Marvin Gaye then you're a piece of sh!t singer. I haven't heard of H.E.R. until a couple hours ago. I just saw her performance at the age of around 10 to 12 years old. Her dream was to tour and become known. She pays respect to the strat and plays piano well... her voice is amazing, won awards.. but yeah let's take a dump on her. Good job people.
