Not rigged, but certainly manipulated. Does the NFL have a motive to make sure the highest-rated television NFL players like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes play in the biggest, most watched games? Yes. Does the NFL have an incentive to produce more exciting close games that come down to the wire or go into overtime? Yes Does the NFL have "subjective foul calls" that can be called or not called at will to increase the likelihood of a close or more exciting game, or to help certain teams advance? Yes Does the NFL have a fiduciary interest in increasing revenue? Yes Does the NFL legally have to provide a fair contest? No Is there any law that outlaws NFL officials from calling penalties in a fashion their NFL employers tell them to? No. Does the media have an incentive to report of talk about game manipulation by the NFL, which is the same people that fund their network? No.. Tell me again how the NFL being rigged or manipulated is impossible...

The thing is no matter if you expose the NFL people will still line up at the stadium on Sundays, Mondays Thursdays and Saturdays to attend games.

Think about it. When Kobe died the Lakers won the championship. After 9/11 The Patriots won the Superbowl. That's just two off the top of my head.

I do believe that refs try to impact the outcome of games with bad calls. That happens far too often to be a coincidence.

In sports, the stadium is the STAGE where one is able to see the Shakespeare's PLAY. Then the coaches put together the SCRIPT to insure that one gets a good SHOW. At the end of the day, it's just a GAME for people to be distracted and entertained.

Everything is scripted/predetermined in Sports & Entertainment. My cousin is an Executive Producer in Hollyweird, and he tells me all sorts of stories about talent shows, games, etc... The NFL is basically the same as WWE.
