One often neglected factor: Many groups compete amongst themselves until they unravel. BTS support, learn from, and teach each other. And willingly step back to let each other shine. Jin's 'Awake' speaks to this. And Jimin's Suchwita too. Anyone can work hard and learn the business. BTS' perfect chemistry cannot be manufactured. If it could be, we'd have world peace by now. And that's why you, and us, protect 'our boys'. They are raising the next generation in the best way. 💜🌏
  • Those boy bands hating the success of bts kinda reminded me of suga "what do you think" lyrics : Crazy that you'd think that my success has a connection to your failure.

The thing that speaks loudly about Zach's relationships with BTS is that he was the only American interviewer Namjoon has spoken with to promote Indigo in USA. I remember when Zach met BTS first couple of times and how relieved and amazed guys were when they found out that he actually listened to their music and read translations and he asked all relevant questions and then was the only one interviewer from that time who asked them about their UNICEF campaigns.

20:20 Zach Sang is well-loved and trusted by Armys because of his genuine interest, love and respect for BTS .His male colleague over there seemed to be agreeing with those two members speaking against BTS. Respect to that one member on the right who disagreed with his friends. Sadly, the rude member was talking too much and he couldn't even speak.
  • Big difference between some boyband is that their ego get big even before they debut. BTS is a very humble down to earth group of young boys. I am a 68 yers old mother /grandmother & I listen to their song. I love them ❤❤❤& watch their concert

a 60 year old white woman and this is the FIRST TIME that I like a so called "BOY BAND"! BTS has brought people together of all ages and different nationalities! I love their message to everyone across the world! RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook are the most down to earth gentlemen that I have ever seen! I love their music!

The band on Zach Sangs show, they were called 'Forever in your Mind'. Ironic right? And after Jimin getting his record breaking number 1 and should have also been in the top 10 in week 2, Billboard has now changed the rules on how they count song purchases. As BTS as a group or solo cannot rely on radio spins they have to rely on ARMY and purchases and streaming to achieve chart results. So now this not only impacts BTS but any other non-English speaking act who cannot get radio play. Surely it is better to count votes from loyal fans making purchases rather than counting 'pay for play' radio spins paid for by music corporations? Whether they chart or not, whether they win a trophy or not, whether they are excluded from Spotify lists or not, all due to underhanded methods in the US, ARMY will still make sure BTS are the biggest band in the world. We will not let BTS be ignored!💜

Like Suga said: "There were a lot if analysis about us. "How BTS were made?" or "What was the secret of BTS's successes?" As you can see from the performances, we are good. I think we practiced a lot more than others and we are still practicing too. When we are on stage, we think we are the best, all the time. Of course, it's not a sport game but I've never thought we'd lose if we compete with others. We are prepared that much. To be honest, we didn't get success like this from the beginning. We've experienced all sort of things. As a result, we can cope with anything, and I think we would have been able to do better on stage. Since we have experienced all kinds of stages, I think is the ground of my confidence." also "there will never be a next BTS"

I just watched your reaction to this video of "BTS vs Boy Bands"....I'm just a 3 yr old ARMY and I hadn't seen this video before. It was so upsetting to watch this and see the complete racism, hatred, and xenophobia these boys faced in the music industry. And, your reaction was so honest and your frustration over people's views of BTS who were being so ignorant and shallow because they are different from the normal expectations of a boy band. I'm a 59 yr old who fell into BTS during the Covid Era. It was a time like me when many others were experiencing sorrow and depression. As I began to follow them and listen to the lyrics of their songs it really touched a chord. I started to learn more about them and their journey. You are correct when you said they are an anomaly. To me they are the modern day version of the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Boys to Men and old school rap from Beastie Boys,Tupac, Eminem all rolled up into into one group plus MORE! I just want more people to know who they really are and what their message is, and what they stand for. They deserve the recognition they are receiving from the world. It's just to bad the West has been so slow to catch on. So I love reactors like you spreading and sharing the respect for these 7 men. Borahae 💜
  • I think it’s interesting that they don’t get that American fans are crazy for BTS and don’t care it’s in Korean. I’ve read the subtitles and know what it means. I do love hearing Dynamite in English but I also have a huge BTS playlist that is not English.

At this point, Armys should start establishing radio stations and go into their spaces. Go with the flow and get better.
  • When you were talking about how it should excite you as a musician to hear something different, I immediately remembered Chris Martin, who went and listened to BTS' music and then talked about how he thought it was cool to hear how the music was different from what he knew. He said he also had a prejudice at first, but he took the time to actually look into BTS and understand what they were about. Like, you can tell if someone really loves music and is there for it instead of some industry competition or a fleeting moment of fame.

When people say I don't get BTS popularity because I don't understand the words, I reply Opera is in Italian but has been popular around the world for 100s of years.
  • The few times that BACKSTREET BOYS(LEYENDS) talked about BTS it was always in a positive way, they recognize their talent and respect them. Both groups even met once and it was great to see good people together. My favorite bands of all times. The other boybands'opinions are not relevant for me. Thank you so much for this video Jim. Borahae!!!💜💜💜💜
  • Bts rose quietly and by the time the western industry could realise they already were big...they still tired various ways to throw them out of the industry by not giving them radioplay, billboard changing rules, award shows not giving them their deserved awards etc. but bts and army never gave up... slowly slowly both the artist and the fandom overcame and they themselves found a way........so now since Jimin as a soloist debuted, the industry is already on his back to throw him out.... YouTube deleting views, Spotify filtering his streams to make him lower on the charts also splitting his songs so that he won't stay in top, billboard deleting his 100k sales so he will be humiliated......i sometimes feel it's really bts and army vs the world😢.......i am excited and also kind of nervous about 2026....no one is ready for that.

What I notice about people in my circle who don’t like BTS is due to the fact that they don’t want to do the work of understanding other languages or cultures. They don’t seem to have any desire or drive to learn beyond what they already know because, frankly, they’re “lazy.” I think that’s part of the reason why ARMY is strong because they put their ‘blood, sweat, and tears’ for BTS. The haters are complete opposites.
  • BTS never put anyone or dissed/hated anyone on their way to their top. Even those who insulted them like Jo Seho on a show was forgiven by them. Up to now they remain humble, respectful, down to earth no matter how successful they have become.
  • @ellysavaj5656
To the boy that said “I don’t understand what they’re saying”. I agree, you can’t understand the language of music when you think English is “American”.
  • @LB-gs5vi
BTS fan base was already HUGE by the time they came to the US for their first performance at billboard. I am always delighted when the BTS army shocked the rest of the audience with their cheers for BTS.
  • @andifiam990
What a great vid to react to!! Bora uses nothing but facts and I really appreciate that because most people love to say ARMYs exaggerate when it comes to BTS! She has become one of my fav, if not favorite, BTS content creators in terms of video essays and just making informative, factual and unbiased content. I’m rambling, sorry 😅. Happy to see you back and well, keep up the great work!!
