Piano peace! In 360 and with 3D audio (you can look around and move the view!). Check out the making of video, it's REAL COOL:    • The Making of "Peace for Triple Piano"

Use your phone and youtube app with headphones to be able to look around with spatial audio on this video. The making of video also includes a flat version so you can see it all at once.

This is a collaboration with mathematician Henry Segerman, with additional help from physicist Sabetta Matsumoto. There’s a surprising amount of theory behind this video that we get into a little bit in the making of.

I highly encourage everyone to watch the “making of” video linked in the description. The layers of symmetry and the careful attention to details of time-space are simply incredible.
  • I didn’t realize it was a 360 camera at first and I was confuzzled. Great video tho!!

I have heard of singing in the round, but this is taking it to an extreme. Very nice visual and audio performance.

Two things: 1. I love the deceptive cadence for the end of sections two and three of the round. Very atmospheric. 2. I finally found a way to tell the difference between the two takes when Henry picks up the triangle: in one of them, the triangle is swaying slightly; in the other, it isn't. The latter is clearly the earlier take.

I'm actually crying right now; this is so beautiful! Every time I'm uncertain about something in life, I should just come back to this channel as I have done just now. All my worries just seem so insignificant next to the beauty of mathematics.

I’m listening to this while looking at the absolutely fantastic desktop background that James Webb has provided. Life is good

This is quite the achievement! The complexity of a concept being conveyed in beautiful simplicity makes it look magical. Thank you for taking the effort to make this.
