  • If this were installed in an office building, the CEO would know every time a mail room employee in the basement washed their hands.
  • I always find the devices like water fountains and hand dryers with cords really funny. It's like I can just take it off the wall and put it in my room, and bam! I can have my very own personal hand dryer right in my room! Thankfully I haven't let the intrusive thoughts win yet

i wish the hand dryers in the public bathrooms was even 1% of this power
  • I remember back in my freshman year of high scchool, in the locker room restrooms they had a hand dryer, we would block the intake on the bottom of it with a book, wich got the heating element really hot on the inside, then we would quickly move the book away and then spray axe in the intake and a huge jet of fire would come out of the exhaust for a few seconds, haha good times
  • I love the comedic moments and humore thrown into every video you do. It makes feel like its a documentary, a movie, a presentation, a project, all wrapped up in one video.

Questionable choices make great hospital stories! I like how the dummy head looked to be in a perpetual state of being blown backward.

What is 1lb of thrust? A "pound of thrust" is equal to a force able to accelerate 1 pound of material 32 feet per second per second (32 feet per second per second happens to be equivalent to the acceleration provided by gravity).
  • Keep up the good work Joel, your one of the best out there
  • @ETG168
Man this whole project is totally youtube
  • @blanana_m
It still sounds quieter than the gas station hair dryiers
  • @Gunbudder
i love the shop guy, more videos with him! lol

"and that's when the intrusive thoughts started to win"
  • I'm reminded of the time I was pressed into unloading a jet with no ground crew training other than, "don't step beyond that line, or the engine will suck you in."
  • That's pretty cool! I like the ingenuity it took to make that hand and hair dryer.
  • @KoroWerks
Joel, you should absolutely build a jet pack setup to use with roller blades, or have you seen the roller buggy guy? With wheels all over? Absolutely wild stuff. Thanks for the kickass video!

5:10 Yeah, that's definitely the fastest moving hand dryer I've seen. The title checks out.
  • @maddsheep
This sort of thing does actually exist just way bigger race tracks use jet engines to dry them after rain so they can quickly get back to racing again if rain happens in the middle I've only ever seen them used in nascar but using two engines to dry things has happened before

As a young sailor in the navy sitting out in the Pacific Ocean in the winter I would stick my hands in the exhaust of a F18 to warm them up a little.
