Thanks for inviting me out there! This was AWESOME.
  • Adding more rockets onto something thats already hard to control sounds dangerous...... But I'm in with the idea.

So glad to see that my jet engine addiction has rubbed off on you — next time, let’s race!
  • The dude who let you use his shop is awesome , nice to see people like him who get legit pumped up and excited for seeing something as unique and bad to the bone as that little turbo jet is .
  • The dollar I toss into a hat every month on Patreon now buys me entertainment with a jet engine? Solid investment. You have the best sidekicks. Dapz just lending you a $4000 jet engine to goof around with and endanger yourself. What a guy. Obviously the next step is to combine this with a leafblower-powered hovercraft. And, for a side-quest, mount it to your minecart.

2:45 the casters in the drift kart are installed at an angle, this basically limits the range at which can point. Going out of this range will make the kart gain height (if you pause @ 2:45 and imagine the casters pointing to the front you'll see why) and since gaining height requires energy, it's easier just to not do it. Sorry for my bad English.

Don't limit yourself to that child's toy. A full sized, screen accurate jet powered hover vehicle would draw in so many more people.
  • That's freaking awesome! 😂 My dad owned the original Lego Landspeeder set. Brings back a lot of memories. Maybe I should attach a small motor to it or something.
  • @RubixKyuub
This is what I love about channels that build stuff. It doesn’t matter how big of a YouTuber you are, if the idea is cool enough, the engineers will want to be a part of it.
  • @p1nstark
Just love those fictional cool stuff being somewhat brought into reality

I like how Dapz was very cautious to keep his jet engine safe while transporting it. And yes: Three of them seems like a sensible thing to do. And maybe also have fireproof clothing. Just to be safe.
  • @Built_IRL
I'm just over here admiring your ability to drive in a straight line

You’re an amazing individual! I love your flirtation with fringe tech, absolutely phenomenal results m8!
  • @Shero1337
David and the people at WI Motorsports always coming in clutch!
  • @elliotmarks06
PLEASE make a full version of this! The idea of using a toy body for the looks and a jet engine for the power is a great way to get a really cool result!
