I was a 52 year old CCA. Now I’m a 55 year old regular. I love the job. Hang in there… the Post Office is a grind, heck, life is a grind.

Thank you for your honesty and truthfulness. It's hard out here. But don't be discouraged. There's sooooooooooo many people who WISH they had a job. Nothing is forever. This will pass. Just keep going until you find what you wanted
  • Looking at that light load and beautiful view. Be happy for what you have. If thats stressing you, just be glad you aren't in a worse office.

You seem like a laidback person. Do not let inept management change you. Hang in there!✌🏽

It will get better once you become a regular. Look toward the light brother you're in a good position. People choose the post office for job stability. Working in a nice neighborhood is a blessing; it could be worse. I've been a carrier for 3yrs, the first year was rough but eventually got better. Your body will become conditioned to physical grind. USPS definitely isn't for everybody; if the money isn't adequate at the moment I respect your decision. Keep your head up!
  • I can’t wait to quit this job. Doing it now. Everything i read about management I am finding to be true and not always good. This is a stressful job and you will bust your a$$ being a mail carrier. There’s a lot of BS. The LLV’s are a joke, old and filthy, no AC, even the heat isn’t much, uncomfortable, the routes take much longer than they tell you and if not done in time you get blamed, It takes its toll on your knees and back. Yes the hours can be long and you’re stuck delivering Amazon on Sundays. Say goodbye to your social life. You will work a long 10+ hour day then you will be back to work the next day at 8am. If you have a lousy manager no one likes you’ll won’t want to show up. On top of all that sh **, you only know ONE day ahead of your schedule! Not even a week ahead! There’s a lot of stress to get the route done. The only positive thing about this job is that you’re by yourself all day, you get to meet friendly people and their pets and then there’s a paycheck every two weeks, that’s it.

I feel every bit of this homie, going on my 2 years so I know.. crazy the amount we get paid with prices just going up and up. Feel they need to higher our pay, by a lot. If prices go up so should our pay being a govt employee. We’re the ones keeping the communities afloat giving them everything they need.

What you do is an essential service to the public brother. Your delivering people important supplies and documents every day. That's your purpose here in the USPS. People need us.

As a fellow usps worker keep going at it and save up and invest and let it grow overtime (crypto & stocks)

Hey! I’ve been watching a lot of vids on cca’s isn’t there a program that helps employees up to 10,000 you’ll qualify for that’ll help you with your financial dues! Ask around and look into that. Also, I just got hired and I’m hoping if you haven’t already stay in there man. A lot of vids can be discouraging but what I do know is nothing good comes easy. Stay in there! Rooting your you man! ❤
