The first time i heard about Sidney Poitier was in a motivational talk by Les Brown around 2009. In the talk, Les makes a quote, 'When you walk with another man, two things happen. You either adjust to their pace or they adjust to yours." This was a direct quote from Poitier's book - The Measure of a Man. He was a rare breed in a world bereft of men of character.
  • Thank you for giving Mr. Poitier and lesser-known black achievers the respect and acknowledgement they deserve.
