I feel physical pain in my chest when I listen to this. One of the most powerful songs ever.

I listened to this song a lot the months following my wife's death. The entire album, actually. Every time I hear "it's never over.. she's a tear that hangs inside my soul forever..." I lose it. Like just now.

It's hard to love someone better than this song.

Jeff Buckley had so much to give this world. He'd only just gotten started. His death was such a huge loss for the music industry and humanity in general. This song is beyond beautiful..the lyrics break my heart.

My god, how does he capture the crippling desperation of heart ache so effortlessly? And the same heart ache we now feel for him. This is one of those rare songs that I can't get sick of. It's utterly exquisite in every single way, and a great example of Jeff's immaculate talent.
