As a big Khalid fan this was definitely one of the biggest jaw dropping moments for me in RL history watching Khalid. I wanted him to win very badly, but Fairy Peak pulled off the best upset. Goosebumps even when i watch it back when Fairy types "be careful." I remember going "surely not, no, it cant happen like that" and it did. What a match from both.
  • @FairyPeak
Very nice video ! Was a pleasure to rewatch that match with all these edits it's really well done ! 😄
  • Bro khalid is such a humble dude, his response to the game 7 OT loss with a nice one and a ggs just shows what kind of guy he is, especially in light of Zen’s response to losing his recent match with RW9 makes you appreciate the humbleness more
  • @itallack
I'm amazed at Khalid's respectfulness following the game 7 OT loss. Must be extremely tilting and yet he shows absolute class

Undoubtedly one of the greatest moments in RL Esports history

"Immediate compliment from Khalid. So gracious in defeat." What an amazing choice of words by Johnny to quickly describe Khalid. Both are Legends in this game.
  • I watched it live, I watched the VOD, I rewatched it when this video announcement was released, and watching this again, this story just never gets old. Ive said it before, but they really should add a "be careful!" quick chat as reference to this series.
  • @EyJay..
These documentary style videos I think are really good from you. You should do more
  • @crarlo
the fact that this video came out within 2 hours of zen vs rw9 being released to youtube is crazy, it’s truly the best of the old guard and the best of the up-and-comers shining
  • Remember seeing this live. It was incredible and i still dont know how he pulled it off
  • @vlrze
You just know its gonna be a banger video when it starts with "Sunlesskhan Presents"
  • the immediate respect from khalid is what really makes this so amazing. props to both dudes for an amazing series, cool to see both the greats have fun and be kind to one another

As someone who only plays this game casually and knew nothing about these two players, this documentary was such an incredible way to experience the battle between these two titans for the first time! Both guys seem like great dudes, Khalid is so humble and such a good guy for immediately giving out compliments after a heartbreaking defeat. Fairy Peak is legendary for this series too. Saying “be careful!” When down 3-1 in the series, while also down a goal in a game with only seconds remaining is one of the coldest, most gangster moves I have ever seen someone do in a video game. Coming back and winning after a line like that sounds like something out of a fake story. Phenomenal work sunless, everything this guy has released lately has been golden.
  • This brought back the same goosebumps I had while watching this series live back in the day. Truly one of the greatest series of all time and no one could do a better job at documenting it than Sunless did right here. Thanks for giving us a great time and bringing attention to the 1s scene!

Man, wish I was following RLCS in the peak Fairy days! Also, what a humble loss from Okhalid. The "ggs <3" after losing that battle is just great to see!

I only got into Rocket League and this channel within the last 2 or 3 years maybe? While l do love the game, I don't think I eat, sleep, and breathe it the way I'm sure a lot of people here do. The reason I bring this up is to point out that when it comes to gaming content, I am not especially engaged with RL channels more so than others. With that being said... I really think that Sunless is underrated as simply a content creator. While it is RL content, a lot of the videos are so well done that it can capture the attention of people who have no investment in the game. Top-notch, high quality stuff. This man knows all about having a true passion for doing this and it shows in his work.

FirstKiller vs Firewall was simply legendary as well. Also, knowing the backstory behind that game makes it better.
