Our Gear:
We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

I love how it seems that mostly Jamaicans decided to watch a video about them selves
  • @drawfirst
Dude, your assessment is dead on accurate. As a Jamaican, I came on to see how wrong you would get it..nope, you are the best yet, this video gets two thumbs way up!
  • The most dangerous thing about visiting Jamaica is that you will leave a piece of your heart there and take some of Jamaica with you. I've been to the island several times and lived there for a summer. I can't believe it's been 6 years since I was last on the island and I still think about it. It never leaves you.

I am a Jamaican and I approve this video👌🏽💛. We are generally polite we get aggravated when tourists are rude and overuse patois. Just be you and enjoy your time here.

I’m afraid of Jamaica... if I go, I may never want to leave.

I’m Jamaican and love Jamaica and believe me, this guy impressed me. No country is pure angels or pure demons. But Jamaica is really nice (but be careful - as always).

As a Jamaican, I love this video, its 100% accurate. Also with the patois thing, it dosen't really bother us, we can just laugh it off, and some will even help with the pronunciation, but really, really, dont overdo it. It gets annoying. Sometimes it's like people are mimicking animals at the zoo, forgetting that we're humans.

Jamaica is also home to the University of the West Indies which is the only Caribbean institution on the worldwide list of top Universities. Even from elementary school through high school I would argue the Jamaican education system is better than America and Canada. So don't fall for the stereotypes perpetuated by TV and film. There are lots of highly educated, well spoken, articulate Jamaicans.

I wont lie this guy gets what means to visit Jamaica. I'm Jamaican and he is on point.

As a jamaican who never ever left the country, I actually thought you'd burn us to ashes when I saw the title of the video but I ended up loving the way you put every single thing you said. KUDOS man!!!!
  • @User-dd2xv
as a Jamaican I respect your video, this is sound advice
  • @brybry42
I love my country so much whenever i travel i can't wait to come back home to our good food.
  • @hepburndavis296
This individual is doing a better job than the tourist board at explaining The Jamaican vibe. Thank you, sir.
  • I’ve been to Jamaica twice already and was surprised on how perfect your advice was. The people are great there and really are just nice. The people are what makes Jamaica different from all of the other tropical islands.
