Man, I am in love with Bill Steer!!!!! Just met him the other day and he made sure to give me a guitar pick...he blows my mind. Love Carcass!
  • man, I love jeff walker. self-deprecating, but also kind of arrogantly confident. His live banter is funny too

This was when MTV actually meant something .
  • I’m late to the party here, but what I really love about Carcass is their lack of fear of evolving. Every album shows a different representation of where they were at in terms of creativity and inspiration. Their unwillingness to shoehorn themselves into the constraints of a genre really gave them an unbridled sense of songwriting and arrangement, and I really respect that. Glad to see they’re at it again with some new music.

Get Jeff some water. Awesome guy, awesome band!

"...A classic band that was too overlooked." That was an accurate prediction.

I like that Carcass lyrics never had swear words in them.
  • Necroticism was their best album IMO, and it along with Heartwork captures the unique sound they had. Everybody in goregrind has since tried their hand at the sound of Reek and Symphony, but the early 90s was when the band did something I wish would've caught on more. Not a fan of Swansong, but I appreciate that the band never pidgeonholed themselves into one genre.

Watching in September of 2018. Jeff Walker is awesome! Carcass is awesome, even without former guitarist Michael Amott, and former drummer Ken Owen. I had NEVER heard Metallica, or Slayer, called death metal!!! wow!!
  • a different time, a great time, loved watching headbangers ball as a young teen!!! <3

I was 12 when that was originally broadcast.I didn't have MTV so my mate would record it and i would get it a day or so later. A big shout out to all you old skool "Headbanger's Ball" fans. And lets not forget the good old VHS. Yeah.

..."5 years from now...um...maybe we're not going to break it big".....I knew there was a reason why I always LOVED this band and that sums it up. One of the most influential artists on the planet...one of the BEST live acts I have ever seen and even now they still play small venues and absolutely mesh with their fan base.

Love this band since the first time I heard them back In 1992. They're one of the few Extreme Metal bands that still matter, that create something unique back in the day that almost 95% of Death Metal, and Gore Metal bands still copy even now on 2022.
  • @GalacticCowboy
"Dug our own grave"... Love how realistic Jeff is here. Many great bands did become overlooked, but not Carcass thankfully!
