I agree with Max: Beneath the Remains is a perfect album

Brilliant video. Me and my best mate travelled down from Scotland. I'm the Scottish one saying they are the most heaviest thrashiest band on the planet. What a show. They were supporting Agent Orange and everyone walked out after they finished cause they blew us all away. Good times.

This was at prime. Thrash will never reach this peak again. I bought it in 89. I was 14 years. Now im 44. I still listening to it in a regular basis. Just to remember my own brain how music was done before i get old and demens

Beneath the Remains is my favorite Sepultura album. Super aggressive and full of energy.
  • Sepultura es la mejor banda de thrash metal de la historia de Sudamérica! Jamás habrá otra igual

After at least 15 years of hearing every metal song in a D-tuning or lower; it almost sounds strange to hear these songs in standard E tuning. Sounds refreshing actually

Damn this makes me wanna cry... They where so fresh and ready to take over the planet ! This was Sepultura to all of us... Anything after Cavalera brothers left... Sepultura became it's name...

God, I remember the first time heard "Inner Self" and I nearly lost my head from banging so hard. TY Headbangers Ball!!! They really were so different. Don't even get me started on Arise. Best album they ever did.

I used this video in 1993 on school on a lecture we had to do about music. suffice to say that there were more then a few surprised faces. Beneath the Remains is still my favorite CD. awesome stuff

It's amazing the depth of his lyrics b4 he had a fluent graspe english! He said he learned English by looking up the translations of metal lyrics for their definitions to fully understand the songs! That's how deeply he loved what he heard!

The good old days of metal. Things have changed in the metal scene quite a bit since 1989 or 1990 even. Beneath the Remains and Arise are brilliant albums.
