I love that you are sharing your story as an adult! As an SLP I learned a lot about childhood apraxia of speech, and how to treat it in childhood. But not as much about what it looks like for that individual as that child grows up, and how they go about their lives. Thank you for being you! šā¤

My little brother has Apraxia, and this helps, because when he is in a situation, he gets more frustrated than other people in that situation, and heāll just block out everything but how mad he is. A funny story is he was doing speech therapy evaluation and they were doing stuff like āwhatās the opposite of coldā and āwhatās the opposite of bigā. One of the things she asked was āwhatās the opposite of heavyā He thought she said āwhatās the opposite of heavenā and he replied with āHELL. WITH THE DEMONSā

Jordan can I ask whether you used to exhibit stimming behaviors as a 4 year old when you wanted to speak? My sim has been seeing an slt for over a year and they still wonāt commit to a diagnosis. Your videos have been inspirational
