Hanna’s definitely smart to pack as much as she did, especially swimsuits. On cruises you get wet so much, plus so much to do within a day that you can typically change at least 2-3 times a day. The best thing about cruises is not having to worry about getting around because you just walk everywhere!

When packing always pack your bathroom products and makeup in zip lock bags so it doesn’t get on your clothes or shoes❤️❤️❤️. Have an amazing cruise!!!!

Always put liquid items in ziploc bags. Things will leak!

Always ALWAYS pack anything liquid in zip bags! I actually pack every individual thing in a zip bag and then put them all in a larger one for extra safety. A trick my mom taught me also is to cut off a strip of plastic wrap, fold it so doubled. Anything that doesn't have a pump tube, unscrew the cap and put a section of the wrap over it and screw the top back on tight and trim off the extra. This is extra security. Pack a sheet of wrap also to do the same when coming home. Between all these things I have never EVER had anything leak onto clothes or in my suitcase in 30 years. Rule of thumb with packing is to pack 2 tops to every pair of shorts/jeans/pants. That way you have 2 outfits with only one pair of bottoms. Pack to your destination. When we go to Florida is is all shorts. Shorts are also easy to swish in a sink it you don't have a washer and hang dry in a shower or on a balcony. Shirts not as easy and why you pack 2. We use to go to a laundry mat and buy a box of powder detergent also to take for that task. You don't need much for sink wash so was perfect. I use the earth breeze sheets now so even easier. I only bring one pair of sweats/leggings and maybe 2 pair of socks as the only time I wear them is in the condo/hotel room as the AC can get a little chilly at times. Not a hiker or anything so I never bring sneakers. Just comfortable sandals/slides I know I can walk a lot in if needed. All this was learned with trial and error from vacationing in very warm places for 2 weeks every summer. As for going out to dinner I just packed a nicer shirt or two that would go with a dressier pair of the shorts I brought or a sun dress or two which can also be used as bathing suit cover ups. Again...all trial and error until I got it down!! Can't wait to see more on the cruise!! I am sure it will be amazing!! So happy for you all!

Luke, when I was a child , the sugar and water was the way my mom and dad made syrup for our family, by the way I am 72 , so that was a long time ago. Zip lock bags are good for those liquid items.
