A more viable Marked for Death build

This build is far less crazy than my cryo grenade one, but it still packs a punch! I actually use this build too. It is pretty fun.

    Huh. That's basically the same as my conductive thermals build (with shaped shells fire boomstick as your main combo). Ever since I found out how insanely powerful conductive thermals is, I've struggled a bit figuring out where to fit marked for death as the alternative support scout playstyle. Conductive thermals is way higher damage potential as well as higher flexibility with targets where it's good on, but with the downside being that there's not really a viable way to use it other than fire boomstick (probably with shaped shells). The advantage marked for death has is that it combos with itself, so it's more flexible, but so far I've found that it makes it kind of a jack of all trades, master of none. You aren't restricted to just using fire boomstick like with thermals, but none of the other secondaries stand out as being great with it either

    Yeah I learned this just now that apparently if you aim between either their jaw and their mid spot of the weakpoint but mostly close to their head or directly at the head cause you can deal headshot Dmg. Yeah for my longest time I never bothers aiming for the head thinking “that’s not gonna do anything”….. till now and it’s incredible.

    Another good option I’ve been enjoying has been with the Explosive Reload OC on the machine pistols, plenty of ammo for dealing with both hordes and larger targets. Mixing them with IFGs for the general horde CC and damage on big bois, been my favorite solo Scout setup with Marked For Death so far

    Wait… does the damage multiplier from marked for death work on embedded detonator zhukovs? I have to go try that.
  • I feel like using the clean OC for the boomstick is the way to go. Either more ammo OC to take the more pellets upgrade or the extra dmg and pellets OC and take double ammo. Cause with this, you still can realibly kill a group of grunts, especially with white proresperuh powder upgrade, too, and you save your marked for death for tankier enemy like pretorian and flying enemies while still having alot of ammo for clearing the mission, plus if you take IFG grenade it becomes more crowds efficient

    Why you use fire? Fire take some damage from the weapon

    Welp, the guy, went the extra mile to make a video to follow up on comment. a sub well earned then.
  • Try double barrel boomstick with 12232 + cryo. Basicly oneshots everything exept tankiest of enemies and has better ammo economy then jumbo shells. Fire works better without cryo nades and it allows you to oneshot spitballers/mactera a lot easier. Loses in dmg against dreadnoughts and bulks though.
