As I've noticed like most anime enthusiasts, that Luffy is based off Sun Wukong (The Journey to The West). But this also implies to the rest of the Strawhats. In Nami's case, she has a staff like weapon and can summon clouds. This referres to the magic staff that Wukong had which was from the Sea Dragons, and the clouds are from how Wukong travels on a magic cloud. Or in Goku's case the Flying Nimbus.

Oykot is a very important name for a town. Dusk&Dawn explained, I think in his video about the Nami Princess Theory, that reversing Tokyo is a metaphor in Japan for a land of relaxed country life, an opposite of the high pressure life of Tokyo.

Also, 15:09 I don't know if Liam has since heard about this since he recorded that line for this video, but an SBS question answered who has the highest tolerance to alcohol, and it ranked Zoro above Nami, although Jimbei was number one. Oda does clarify that just because a character has a higher tolerance to alcohol that doesn't mean they enjoy it more, which he probably did to explain why Jimbei was ranked above Zoro (although I would think that it's Jimbei's size that would help explain his increased tolerance, though maybe not a lot of people know that?).

It’s funny I saw a comment saying they’d be mad if Nami got a big reveal in the final saga, and another one saying they hope she gets a big reveal. She’s so obviously getting something huge in the final saga Oda has been alluding to the fact that Nami is special for 26 years now lol. The amount of times that characters have pointed out that Nami is “NOT NORMAL”, or that she has been compared to goddesses is actually crazy. I reread all of One Piece recently and this stuff was a lot more blatant to me than when I first experienced it. Also her backstory is super suspicious, and now that we know about all of these island whipping genocides leaving no survivors it’s even more suspicious.
