So, I once read the theory that Zoro actually has a perfect sense of direction, but always runs in the opposite direction of what his senses tell him, because he thinks the most danger and therefore the most opportunities to improve himself are that way.

Just started to re-read the manga, bc it bothers me that people say Zoro hates pirates, especially after the reveal that his father was killed by one. What he told Luffy was this: "I followed a pirate I was after out to sea, but couldn't find my way back to my village. So, I made best of things and went after pirates that were in the area. I had to earn money somehow." Zoro only was after one pirate and then hunted others to get money for necessary things, since he couldn't find his way back home. He does not say he hates pirates, he does say that he didn't want to be one, because he couldn't see what good it would do for his goal.

Fun fact: Since zoro's king of hell, or devil attacks uses Indian words Asura(a devil race not necessarily evil and also prays god), he is actually quite a religious man from prespective of Indian mythology and may very well be worshiper of God Shiva whose avatar God Hanuman is inspiration of Luffy's devil fruit and some of luffy's character. Pica in portuguese here in Brazil (I don't think Portugal or other places use pica as similar to dick) was extra funny because they were mocking his laugh, but for us was the name as well. Crunchyroll always use in the subtitles the ''-sama'', but when the members of the Donquixote crew refered to him as Pica-sama the subtitles made sure to say ''The Great Pica'' just because of his name meaning here in Brazil

Zoro was meant to be Buggys bodyguard and Mihawk ended up being Buggys bodyguard. Buggy really deserves his fame.
