She literally looks like Mark Zuckerberg if he was a woman 💀

I like how at no point did the fact that the thing never actually worked ever stopped her.

its an absolute scam that YT does not feed these as well as your shorts into the algorithm. This video was amazing!
  • I love this. Someone else would have made the story into an 8 hour video essay, but this is perfectly bite sized

I made a research paper on this case in school, reading the book and heavily researching this. I would heavily recommend looking more into this, this video was just the tip of the iceberg. It’s crazy.

Just how blind the silicon valley had to be to not even run test on this machine. All it had needed was one guy to cross-check his test results done the classic way with this machine.

The crazy thing is that her strategy of fake it till you make it, and lying/exaggerating to get millions from investors, and then building a legit company, could have worked if it was a tech company and she was building an app or software. And she seemed to think it was a tech company for some reason. But it never occurred to her that this doesn’t work at all for a medical company, especially when you are promising to make some incredible medical breakthrough that no scientist, doctor, engineer, or any of the major companies in that field have ever done before.

the editors need a raise, this is better than any cartoon or tv show I've seen😭
  • @amamzing
i could use that money so much better, like i could start a scam called "thanos"

Honestly your long videos are just as fire as your Shorts!

My uncle was on one of the boards that interviewed her and the pics I’ve seen of him he looks so fed up with her bullshit

I think someone should actually make Theranos come to life, I see so much potential in it's usage.

The lesson I take is the lesson you should get for most scams: If it is too good to be true, it is, indeed, too good to be true. Doubt everything.

man I wish they weren't just known for their shorts but also their long videos cause this so fire (imagine fire emoji here)

I don't even know why she lied, there's no shame in failure her company was trying to invent a whole new technology that doesn't exist and revolutionize the field of medical testing, it's understandable if she fails as long as she keeps at it.

Uhh, I mean it would still would have pretty cool if the machine could just test 2-3 of the most common or serious illness symptoms accurately, I'd buy that
