Hey everyone, this is obviously a sensitive video for a few different reasons but I hope that you watch it with an open mind and enjoy an unusual story that I think is rarely told. Either way, I’m happy you’re here 🙏

Imagine being like “yeah I smoked some hash with a bunch of dudes in Afghanistan one time” what once-in-a-lifetime story right there
  • @floatinjellies
So for anyone watching in 2024- Noor is ok! He made it to Australia, after fleeing during the fall of Kabul. Heres to hoping 2024 sees Afghanistan recover :)
  • I used to work in a warehouse with a guy from Kabul. Farid. He was an interpreter for the US. He went back to Kabul to visit his family (despite knowing that the Talbian knows who he is) Not that long after we pulled out and nobody has heard from him since. I know he cant read this but Farid if your still out there, we think about you almost every day and i pray that your still with us.

The guide’s name Noor translates to the meaning “light” in English. Dude’s going to be the ray of light for the children of Afghanistan.

I love how wearing their traditional outfit indicates respect. In America they would probably label it as cultural appropriation instead of cultural appreciation.
  • It's so painful to see this video right now after that Talibans have taken over control of all Afghanistan. May God will bless this people and give them peace and love and education for everyone

I've discovered this channel by chance and I'm addicted to it. The quality of the content is just amazing.

" I thought one of them would run away with it." Thomas - "No he just wants to try it." This moment right here, is why I love yes theory.

The world is so dark that you forget how beautiful and kind people can be.
  • @nawakarim6015
you cannot believe how thankful i am for this video. all my ancestors are afghan and even my parents grew up there but i was born and lived in germany my whole life. they tell me stories about afghanistan but i never really knew what it was like. most of the stories my dad tells me are of when he was younger and i kept thinking that he was one of these kids you showed. when you showed the kites flying around i started crying because my dad told me that he always used to do that and just seeing all these stories becoming true is so insane and emotional for me, thank you
  • It goes without saying that you are immensely brave. You went beyond your own fares to show us the love that still exists in Afghan. This is what the world needs to see. Thank you.
  • @lucasrovira903
lmfao they smoked a bud wit the homies in Afghanistan. Never thought i'd ever witness such an event.
  • @pablo-xy7ly
This ain't cultural appropriation, this is cultural appreciation
  • @Rosemari753
Noor means "light" in Dari, he sure is a light shining in dark places. Its so sad that he has to flee and all his plans for the school are presumably on hold indefinitely. I pray he is able to return someday/somehow to carry out his dream.
  • @babypanda0201
I wonder how the people in this video are doing right now? I hope they are still alive and safe.
  • @KytoNagasaki
His heart is so pure. When he let the kid take the camera and record the person filming said “dude you’re ballsy for giving anyone your camera” and his response shows so genuine it’s almost poetic. “He just wants to film” It shows a lot about how we view people. One who doesn’t trust easily and is very cautious and on guard entering this country. While the other shows exactly how we should respond as humans to coexist in each others worlds and just show nothing but compassion and optimism that hopefully one day the whole world can come together. Seek discomfort is going to change the world ✨🌎🌏🌍

As an Afghan, I used to wonder: "Are Yes Theory wild enough to go to Afghanistan?" Guess, yeah, they really were that wild.
  • Not often do you get a chance to see what these places look like from a perspective of the local people. Thank you for doing this, guys.
