The fact that they actually made Herrenhall seem haunted in the show was a BRILLIANT touch 😂
  • Watching Moondancer chasing Criston Cole was pure excitement. Kudos to Fabian Frankel for portraying Criston Cole so well that I now despise him as much as I hated Joffrey!
  • Learning that her Dad never changed his mind about her gave Rhaenyra renewed purpose. Her last expression shows that.

Aegon feels like some Hollywood actor who got too much pressure and fame at such a young age that they crumbled and became addicted to drugs once they grew up.
  • I really loved the Harrenhal scenes! It seems like the show is fully embracing the Harrenhal curse idea from the books. Matt Smith's performance in this episode was also fantastic.
  • I love the design of Harrenhal, a castle so massive that entire garrisons can get lost in its cavernous halls.

Seeing this franchise embrace “high fantasy” with the Harrenhal illusions scenes was really cool. It allowed us to get an intimate look at Daemon’s psyche that we wouldn’t otherwise see.
  • I wish Daemon’s hallucination sequence was longer! There were so many layers in the character shown and it was a joy to see Milly again! 😍

Oh I missed, Milly! Seeing her again made me so happy!

Rhaena seems like Jon here. Feeling resentful for being sent to do the job that she found to be beneath her but later found the purpose in life.

the set design this fkn seasons is insane
  • @tuffneggah
gwayne: is that an eclipse? criston: run ngga run!!
  • Cant wait for more of Daemon's arc at Harrenhal when Alys told him he was gonna die here and the shot pan to the gods eye i had chills because she knows.
  • Rhaenys is the mother that Rhaenyra deserved, a true queen would have raised a true queen, Rhaenyra would have been the son that Rhaenys deserved, a true heir would have served a queen the best, they were related in a wrong way, yet in the darkest of times, knew the worth of each other, that stood beyond personal interests. True Targaryen legacies.
  • The way i screamed when i saw Milly!!! The hallucination was so much smarter than just a flashback and the way that Daemon realizes that even young Rhaenyra disapproves of his actions is brilliant
  • Having Daemon face the supernatural forces, something that has always been intertwined with the Targaryen’s since the Doom of Valyria, it’s an amazing callback to Season 1. Rhaenyra tried to tell Daemon of the Aegon the Conqueror’s prophecy leading to the Song of Ice and Fire an he was beyond pissed. Now he’s in Harrenhal facing his past mistakes as well as the present and will continue to see his inner demons in the form of people he cares about.

Aegon is becoming a magnificent character. So complex, reminds me of the saying about the targaryens about the line being thin between sanity and greatness. His divide between humanity and complete craziness is glorious 😂and tom sprinkling in some humor /sarcasm with his performance is chef's kiss. From the books only I'd never guess he'd be my absolute favorite green😁.
  • Anybody else see shades of Joaquin Phoenix's Commodus in Tom Glyn-Carney's performance as Aegon? Definitely my favourite actor to watch in this second season so far.
