CONJOINED twins Callie and Carter Torres are continuing to thrive together – despite expert doctors giving them just 24 hours to live. Callie and Carter were born attached by their pelvis area, sharing all organs from the belly button down and having a single leg each. The girls, who reside in Blackfoot, Idaho, are described as omphalo-ischiopagus twins that make up less than five percent of conjoined twins throughout the world. Still to this day, just 40 to 60 percent of all conjoined twins manage to survive past birth. But with their second birthday approaching in the new year, Callie and Carter’s health continues to improve, much to the delight of parents, Chelsea and Nick Torres.

It's a heartbreaking situation. Recent follow-up shows they are doing so well. Very grounded parents just loving them through everything. I wish them all the best in life and hope they don't suffer too much pain.

That’s a heartbreaking situation that these parents were put in and it’s never easy for anyone to make those decisions. They stuck with their gut and had beautiful daughters who are going to have special needs. Thats so sweet that she makes them clothes. I always worry about the kids quality of life when they get older though. like being stuck with another person must suck and it's going to be nearly impossible for them to get married or have children if that's what they want. Kind of random but omg the dog at 6:01 so cute!

it’s a hard decision to terminate the pregnancy or continue even though they are conjoined twins girls are happy now but what happens when they are teenagers and don’t want to the same things and want separation or recent you but is it cruel or a selfish decision to make them live a conjoined life 😠🤨☹️🙁😢

The woman who said god wouldn't want them alive is atrocious. But not surprising from someone who worships a god who drown a planet of people he made, including innocent babies and children.

Just keep showing them the love that you have for them and when they get older they will tell you things like mom/dad I wanna be separated if they so choose. Jaysin is such a good big brother to them
