big ups to you for playing through the series before starting this game. I see a lot of twitch streamers and youtubers that played this game on release day for views, and the whole time they were saying "hey someone in chat tell me who this guy is". Its really good to see someone who takes the time to appreciate the whole series before experiencing the finale of the saga.

As promised. Here are the tips: 2: the flying green empusa heals other demons. So kill them first 2: The first move that you should buy after streak IMO is payline. It's amazing for so many purposes 3: for some reason, this game calculates your AVERAGE stylish points NOT your total. So engaging in fights that you don't have to can lower your stylish ranking at the end of a mission 4: your arms don't get used up on their own. If you get hit while using an arm it breaks 5: something absolutely amazing in this game is that you can now taunt in the air. This is much faster than normal taunts 6: in terms of breakers. Experiment with different arms but I think you'll like Gerbera the most since it's s lot like trickster when you enter the game. You'll find something called "The Void". This id your training mode arena. 8: The Antenora (The enemy that broke all your arms) Enters a berserk state when knocked down. This gives him super armor. Wait for his attack to miss then attack

Yessss! DMC5 is my GOTY 2019 and I'm so friggin happy you played them all! Now TIP TIME! 1. You got away with a lot in DMC4, but now is the time more than ever to learn how to use Nero's exceed system and combos. You can rev your sword JUST after every swing (press L2 slightly after your attack animation, the timing changes for each type of swing) You can get Ex-ACT timing and MAX-Act timing which will FULLY power Red Queen in one swing. this sets red queen on fire and does TONS more damage, sends enemies flying and adds MORE hits to your attacks. (example: a level three exceed highroller will make Nero flip into the air three times with his sword on fire, sending enemies flying three times as high as a normal one.) And use Combo C on the ground! (triangle, triangle, PAUSE, triangle, triangle triangle) You neglected it in 4 and it does GREAT crowd control damage. Nero has a VASTLY larger moveset in this game. 2. Nero is an AERIAL BEAST. Use Roulette Spin in the air to gain more altitude in your air combos! Other breakers such as gerbera can keep you airborne pretty much forever. combos of gerbera, wire snatch, enemy step, roulette spin, etc, will have you doing fights entirely in midair. 3. TAAAAAUNT! Every style ranking has UNIQUE taunts. AND THERE ARE SPECIAL TAUNTS YOU CAN DO MID AIR. One taunt Nero has is to be able to put his hood on, and he will KEEP it on until he takes damage or gets blown back by a shockwave. His mid air taunt rides his sword like a skateboard in midair (AND IT CAN BE EXCEEDED! That's right. you can ride your sword in mid air, AND rev it for a power boost.) He also has a taunt you never saw in 4 that comes back here, a friggin Air Guitar! Oh! And if you sprint and THEN taunt, you will do a drop kick that actually does damage! 4: Use your breakers! They all have single tap attacks AND charged attacks called Break Ages that do special moves but break the arm after use. There are plenty to pick up all over levels and breaking them strategically will save your skin sometimes. 5: Don't forget, dodging is tied to your lock on. TABLE HOPPER is a LAST SECOND DODGE that will minimize hor far away you move from an attack, making it easier to counter attack. You have to lock on to enemies to execute it successfully. try to do this instead of jumping away from every attack. 6: Replay prior missions and USE. DAT. TRAINING. MODE! The BEST addition to the series is being able to toss yourself into The Void with any enemy and just try moves out. Start spending some time in there just changing how you think about fights! instead of going "what move works the best, think, "what move haven't I DONE yet in this combo?" (example: attack with your sword, shoot your gun, use your breaker, air combo, taunt, downward attack, breaker, all while revving your sword in between swings. stuff like that!) Go WILD Alyce! This game is INSANE!

1. For the Devil Breaker, Buster Arm is the only one who immitate Nero old arm but you won't getting them in the early stage. For the earlier stage, Overture and Punch Line are my favourites. Punch line is the Devil Breaker that allows you to launch it towards enemy and ride on it 2. So, in this game, there won't be any vital start, devil star or holy water. Green orb, white orb and red orb can often be found by breaking this sort of short tree looking statue (I dunno how to describe it). Don't forget to collect the red orb. You are going to use it to buy skills, Blue orb, Purple orb, Devil breaker and at emergency, to revive 3. You miss one blue orb shard. After killing the Red Empusa, there's one shard nearby 4. Devil Breaker can be found scattered around. If you ever need a refill, just look for them 5. You will notice that the 3 of the demons V control came from DMC1. Towards the end, everything will come to make sense why he is able to control them

In case you didn't know. Nico is the daughter of Agnus. The guy that you hate so much in DMC4. You both have something in common. You both hate Agnus. Edit: BTW you can get characters to do a TAUNT by pressing SELECT BUTTON. And the better the Stylish Rank you do while you battle the better the TAUNT your character makes. And QLIPHOTH is pronounced KLOYFOTH. Yeah, I didn't know how to pronounce is too before. ^_^

Love that you played through all the other DMC games too, it really does just give the game more meaning when you know the characters. When an enemy hits you well you are using your arm(circle), it breaks.
