The Taiwanese alphabet is a little different from English. In total there are 18 letters. There are nine letters to take particular note of because they make a different phonetic sound than English:

The letters CH make a j-sound, in Taiwanese.
The letter K makes a g-sound, in Taiwanese.
The letter P makes the b-sound...
The letter T makes the d-sound...

The letters CHH make the ts-sound...
The letters KH make the k-sound...
The letters PH make the p-sound...
The letters TH make the t-sound...
And the letter G is generally silent, in Taiwanese.

You can see how the addition of an H produces a new sound, in Taiwanese.

Note: Small letters beneath the polite phrases serve as reminders.

Great video! Could you make videos like this one but with little conversations? Like one person asking the other how their day went, how have they been and what they're up to and so on.
