This is the scene in the Matrix 2 where Neo, Morpheus, and the Key Maker are trapped in a hallway of back doors, one of which leads to the architect. The problem is that if the alarm to the architect's door goes off, the building explodes. This is why Trinity is hacking into the local power grid to shut down power to several city blocks in the Matrix. Keep in mind that this is a special hallway/floor where no elevator or stair well can reach, hence the back door motif.

What's funny about this scene is throughout the entire trilogy this is the only time Neo and Morpheus fight together.

1:03 Agent on the left so eager for a piece of the action lol

Morpheus was actually ridiculously good of a fighter for a "normal" human. The fact that he can hold back that many agents for that long is something only Neo and him could do.
  • Fun fact : In John Wick Chapter 3, The Keymaker makes an appearance as John Wick's doctor.

I love how despite how much they interacted in the first movie, Smith barely even acknowledges Morpheus here. He already viewed himself superior to humans, but here you can tell he's gone even beyond that. Literally the only person that matters to him now is Neo.

"Would that include a bullet from this gun?" Lmao that was a good line
  • @konradfoyle
I will always love the transition from Smith's calm, evil smile appearance to the ultra angry and mad style. It's just so good

Hugo Weaving was astounding as Agent Smith, just utterly brilliant how he portrayed him.
  • @Rueuhy
It's been almost twenty years and I still say "Mr. Anderson" in Smith's voice to an empty room.
  • That KeyMaker spent so much time making keys never bothered to learn how to shut the door (bullet proof one) while keeping himself hidden and safe behind it.
  • I think Agent smith is and will always be the best vilain of all cinema history. how he says "Mr Anderson" is just epic every time XD
  • @arnavrawat9864
The cinematography is just insane. The sway with which smith walks, which blocks one while revealing another member of the group of 3 was genius
  • 0:13 Smith: You still using all of Your muscles except one that matters... Morpheus: Do You think his strenght and speed depends on his muscles...in this place? Do You think You breath air now?
  • @Gurugurustan
Dying character pulls necklace cliche is hard to do in real life.

Keymaker is great at opening doors but apparently has no tact in closing doors.
  • "Agent Smith cannot be destroyed, Mr. Ander, son of Gloin, by any craft that we here possess."
  • @naterksmr
"Still using all the muscles except the one that matters?" "Actually, Trinity and I have been doing it for a while now." "... Touché, Mr. Anderson."
