Morpheus - “Why doesn’t Neo have any of his powers yet?” Oracle - “Have you tried turning him off and then back on?”
-
And thats how you say "No" to bullets. Remember, bullets have no rights to penetrate you without your consent.
-
I love how Smith shoots Neo without any sort of pause or hesitation. No taunt or monologue. He just fires.
-
This first matrix will always be a timeless classic! This is one of the most powerful iconic scenes in movies
-
His brain and body finally learned how to spot and reject the attacking signals originating from the Matrix, through their "plug in" systems. He's basically a server admin now.
-
Neo: No Bullets: Understandable, have a great day
-
Life changing scene. Makes you believe you can be the one if you choose to be.
-
I like how the nameless agents take a step back when Neo possesses Agent Smith, like they suddenly realised they were not the master's of their domain.
-
I always loved Neo's nonchalant "..no" line right before stopping the bullets. Its like he had become so powerful and realized how small and insignificant his surroundings are now.
-
The amount of swag Neo has when he decides he no longer needs two hands to block Smith's attacks.
-
-
One of the best moments in movie history, the symbolism of seeing the matrix code…seeing all the lies around you for what they really are…
-
If you watch the matrix in reverse, it is the story of a guy who quit drugs and found a job.
-
Oracle: sorry kid, you aren't the one. Maybe in another life. Neo: resurrected and returns to life as the one.
-
They actually set this scene up so well. Remember: Neo: What are you trying to tell me? That I can dodge bullets? Morpheus: No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to. And then he litteraly doesn't have to dodge the bullets in this scene. Brilliant.
-
2:57 So good, they didn't overdo it, he only made two moves in super-speed and that was enough
-
Neo: 'What are you tryin' to tell me, that I can dodge bullets?' Morpheus: "No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to"
-
Wow keanu reeves got shot in the chest point blank and he survived it, shows how good of an actor he is.
-
3:07 I love how Neo deliberately moves his leg like that, almost like he's thinking, "I guess I'll put my leg down now, but I really don't have to, it's whatever."
-
Neo becoming The One is probably one of the best iterations of the whole ‘Chosen One coming to power’ trope.
