I am annoyed at seeing comments saying “they should have just ignored the instructions and jumped out” they were high school students, they didn’t know what was happening outside, they believed that the government would save them and by the time they made up their minds to get off, it was already too late, the ship has tilted so much you can’t even climb to the top, they broke their fingernails trying trying to open the windows to climb out. Do you think they want to die there? Stop saying what they could have did, and let’s honor them, the 304 deaths, most of them could have graduated by now. I hope they are happy now
  • Just WHY did they tell them to stay put!!!!!!!this makes me angry. The fact that so many more would’ve survived if they weren’t told to stay put....

Who can blame them? This should’ve been avoidable and the grief these poor parents face. I hate it

I heard that some of the victims didn't die of drowning but died from hypothermia which meant that they were still alive but because of people like the captain and ex president park who kept putting off the searches that more innocent people could have been saved...what a damn shame!!!

these kids were so innocent, they could've been saved if the ship's staffs weren't so ruthless and shitty. I remember almost crying when I heard the news on CBC in 2014, I was 13 at the time. Now 5 years later, I hope these children are resting well in heaven. I hope that they know that I will share my experience of university with them, since they will never get a chance do it.

How can parents eat sleep live when there kids are missing and are unsure about their lives
  • As a parent, hearing the cries of that mother ached beyond what words can described.

And this is 16/04/2019 Still not found the truth🎗️💜😭 Hope that family get more stronger.. 😭

if i was the captain, i would've asked them to move upwards and to the nearest opening as quick as possible without panicking. that would've prepared them to exit safely through the opening when help arrives. this breaks my heart
  • @maeratcliffe
if in a plane, the cabin crews take time to demo how to use the life jacket and point out the exits, it should also be applied on travelling ferries and boats. teach them literally everything to do in case something happens. i feel bad for everyone that didnt make it. to this day, this still breaks my heart :(

My son is 7 and i can't imagine if this happened to him. You just stand there feeling helpless as you imagine your kid scared and is about to drown. Screaming for you to save them... I wouldn't have the strength to keep living. I hope each parent gets the help they need to recover from this tragedy that was sooooo avoidable if the captain was a real captain and stayed on the ship until the last person got off safely.
  • Thefact that they still had hope , even though it was two years ago is so very sad. I couldn't imagine it, but I know I'd try to have some hope too.
  • It’s infuriating knowing how easily this tragedy could have been avoided

Why they tell the students “ stay put “ ???? They have 3 hours to get out !!!!!!!!!! I wish i can come back that time and tell them to get out this fuckin ship nowww !
  • @itsme1276

They're Beautiful. It's been 5 years. Maybe, they are in better place and play together. We always miss them. I cried a lot whenever see them. I saw a video that there is a innocent girl Filming. At that momment , the ship was sinking. R. I. P From Vienam 🇻🇳
