Flooded Railroad In Wisconsin & Street Running Steam Train In Iowa, Empress Steam Locomotive Sample!

First we see the flooded Mississippi River as I drive from Marquette, Iowa to Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. This is my first time to ever be in Wisconsin. I wanted to film a train there but the tracks were under water. This line runs up the river a few more miles and then dead ends. I filmed it under water at West Lockwood Street at the sewage treatment plant. After that I drove to Bloomington, Illinois where I spent the night and filmed trains the next day there. That video will be posted soon.
Next we see the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Southern Railroad steam train. This is just one of my samples from the chase. I chased it from Davenport, Iowa to Marquette, Iowa. This video shows a clip of it street running in Clinton, Iowa. That was awesome seeing a steam train running in the middle of the road! The locomotive is 94 years old and burns oil. The tenders are for water. Look how long that train was! I will have a lot more video of it soon. I just wanted to use one clip as soon as possible and chose one of the street running towns.
The last train is a long coal train running southbound just north of Green Island, Iowa. The train has a DPU on the rear. The train is empty and has Union Pacific Railroad power. When I was chasing the steam train I noticed this train and knew the steam train would have to stop for it since the line is single track. So I got an extra train for my video! That was really awesome. I was blessed. I also got to meet a lot of railfans. Interestingly, most if not all of them already knew me. Lol.

I will have trains such as Iowa Interstate crossing the Mississippi River, Amtrak trains in Bloomington, Illinois with the new Amtrak paint scheme and trains in Danville, Illinois at the railroad diamonds. This video also has the usual slide show that comes from the video and it will include Lillias new kitten for those who haven't seen him yet.

That is such a beautiful train, I don't have words to do it justice! On a side note, if I were an engineer, I wouldn't take my train over the flooded rails. Also, I'd hesitate to cross the river from Iowa to Wisconsin! Great catch of the steam train! 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤
