If you’re cleaning out the inside of your dryer make sure the product you use is not flammable

Please give a cautionary warning that you should be extremely careful using any kind of chemical cleaners, whether natural or otherwise in your dryer, especially if it is a gas dryer. The fumes remain flammable, even after the surface has dried creating a fire hazard/injury hazard.

Watch out when you remove that part. There is a sensor on it and if you pull the wires too hard it will be bad. I know this because the sensor on mine was acting up and I watched a few videos on it and fixed it. The sensor is to detect moisture in the load.

We cleaning the dryer now? I'm more behind on chores than I thought, y'all

You do not have to desinfect your dryer. Just clean the lint out really well, because of fire hazards. Otherwise,, your dryer is not dirty.

You don't have to disinfect everything. You can just clean it.

WHAT DRYER GETS THAT MUCH LINT IN ONE LOAD?? edit: no more 666 likes 😭

Doesn't the heat from the inside of the dryer disinfect the dryer itself?

It's important to wash the trap mesh on a regular basis if you're using fabric softener or dryer sheets because enough can build up on the mesh that it interferes with the airflow.

I never let my dryer get like that. The worst lint I’ve seen was from a cotton blanket when it was brand new.

I love those LG washers and dryers. Mine have lasted for years!!

You forgot to clean the hose that goes to the vent outside. If you don’t clean that out, it can catch on fire if it gets too filled up with lint.

Cleaned out my dryer last night. Instead of vacuuming it out. Grab a datavac "it blows", remove the vent. Blast the hell out of the filter port, and run the dryer on air fluff. Vacuum up all the debre. Mine was as good as new with the addition of a new vent line.

I just hang my clothes for drying after washing. It's cheaper and better!!! And I don't have to do this cleaning 😂😂😂
