I lived a half mile away from Chad near Eden Park in Cincinnat.One day Chad was coming home from practice on a cold winter day and noticed 3 kids walking home with no winter coats.Chad picked those 3 kids up took them to tri county mall and bought those boys shoes and coats then proceeded to take them home and told them not to tell anyone but their moms.Of course word got back to the media but Chad was and is a Great Human being.

He would tell you what route he was running and you still couldn’t stop him!! Easily one of the best in his era!!! It’s a shame he never got a ring...definitely deserves to be in the hall of fame one day.
