In my forties I suffered from depression, ADHD and horrible, crippling procrastination. I'm going to be 60 next birthday and have never been happier. I found my faith in God, I make my bed, I work for myself and I exercise. The power of momentum is incredible. Just as one step propels you forward, each action builds on the next action to get you where you are. Birthdays used to depress me as I measured them by how much I had failed to achieve in my life. I give thanks to God and can't wait to celebrate the next one.

I spent my entire life scared of change and blaming my misery on others…. This speech was the reason I dropped everything, moved out of Chicago, started college at 29 now, and now I am graduating double major!! Today I started my internship at one of the largest companies in the world… and and signed an offer that guarantees a high paying job that starts two weeks after I graduate….
