kid was so stunning vocally. he still is, but such intensity and control for 19/20. but he was in far too much pain in this era of his career. it’s great listening to his new record and knowing he’s in such a happy, creative, pressure free space now🙌🏻❤️

What 20 year old would write so creatively and sing so powerfully? Such excellent command even during his teens. Freakin' prodigy, not without its price though.

I used to think he was so old but he was 20 there. My big sister recently turned 20 and I’m about to turn 18 like, 20 is little. And he still was so wise and beyond his years, and had such a defined and incredible voice. I really compare him to blues singers. Unlike anything.

When I found out what this song was about it broke my heart! He struggled with anorexia. “Ana” this song reminds me of my own struggles in high school
