Keeping house is not playing around. It is hard work. How it is done is very personal. As for the person that said that to you. They must be very unhappy to put someone down for being a homemaker.

To keep house is an occupation unto itself. To do it with a sunny disposition and a joyful attitude is a wonder. Never let others discourage you from doing what is in your heart. I loved playing house as a child, and at 67 that memory touches my heart. And I do still love playing house, and wouldnโt wan it any other way. It is a complement 100 percent.

Dear Tessie, Never lose your childhood dreams. I am 63 and still sleep with a teddy bear. I still think of my favorite childhood memories. You may have to grow up, but you don't have to grow old. Stay young in your heart. I love the shaker basket and the shelf. โคโคโคโคโค
