27:00 So cool to see the train racing the road traffic on M1. It's even better when I watch the video at 2x play speed, LOL! I have done many trips on that M1 highway for my trips between Dandenong and Bairnsdale, but never rode on this V-Line train. Thanks for sharing.

I came across your videos by accident. It was amazing to see the Australian country side and how it changes through out the video. It was good to see my old stomping ground of Kalgoorlie. Thanks for the video, I appreciate your time on rendering.

Thanks. Enjoyed picking out the landmarks.
  • Thank you! I live in California… love seeing rail videos of Oz. Very photogenic and it like being there! Cheers

Thing that stands out most, the driver uses the warning horn, which not a lot of countries do, excellent journey, thanks

Excellent video. I enjoyed seeing the skyrail go in at Pakenham. Hopefully once that is complete the funds will come through to complete the duplication through to Traralgon. Ridiculous that in the 21st century it still has single track lengths.
  • I just found out I own shares in Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Cool. 🤩 I think this video is the first one I've seen from south west Victoria. Also cool. 😁 When I finish it, I get to watch the 4th launch of Starship. Cool to the power of 10. 😎

I like the video. I used to visit my grandparents in Taralgon. It would be nice to see an outside shot of the trains if possible. Give some perspective.
  • As a local it was very interesting to see the Sky rail in Pakenham from the other side of the fence, I watched that part 1:11:00 to 1:15:00 approx. at 0.25 speed and saw lots of familiar landmarks from a new perspective. Those sleepers are hypnotic. Cheers 👍
  • Two hours and eight minutes to Caulfield - exactly 2 minutes faster than the Up Gippie 50 years ago

have to shoot this again with the new stations opened and the track duplication works complete

I noticed they are starting to build a Sky train starting @ Packenham. We have had a Sky train system in Vancouver since 1986. Ours uses third-rail for power & is driverless (operated by a central computer). Thanks for video.
