I would agree IF it was only Epic. Epic has multiple different teams working on all the modes, and they don’t cross. So BR devs only work on BR. And they were on break. This happens every year. We at least have to wait 6 months to see what the normal numbers are before we say how this works.

This might sound crazy, but.. the more modes they add……. The more people they hire to make the content Just like the rocket league devs working on racing. That’s why RL didn’t get any updates for a long ass time

absolute bull crap. If it wasn't for new modes - I would never download fortnite. And now I'm playing zero build all the time and happy with it. Also, if you think development works this way - you are very wrong. Each mode is a different team that is most likely 90% new people and some from og BR mode. And the modes are a great change of pace, same as STW and community modes (most are bad anyways). So yeah, be glad that they did this because it attracted a lot of new people

I think yes they are slacking on updates but there is no harm in putting in colabs with skins and stuff same goes with the Lego fortnite and guitar festival and rocket racing, there is no harm in putting it in, not everybody likes it but they are branching out the game so it fun for all types of people, and the reason the oh chapter last season was popular wasn’t because of updates or anything like that, it was simply because of peoples nostalgia

fortnite basicly isnt meant as a singular game, fortnite is making a shit ton of money, yes. but the actual money is in the unreal engine. you also said that they need to focus on the battle royal, because then the game is doing better/the battle royale is better? look at early chapter 2/ end of chapter 1. is that so much better?
