This event was thrown to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Skate Rock City Skating Center, A black owned and operated skating rink located in Henderson, NV, a suburb of Las Vegas, NV. This skating rink is popular due to it being owned by Floyd Mayweather's family. Some of these people are super talented. I used to be a speed skater and after our practice was over the artistic skaters would come on the floor and we'd watch them with our mouths hanging open lol We're fast, but dancing on skates is a different ball park. I remember skating during public sessions sometimes and watching the people with the cool skates wishing I could do those fancy moves, but I couldn't. All I could was skate fast lol
