Purchased a 2023 Lightning Lariat Extended Range this week in Arkansas. MSRP was pushing 80k, out the door price was 56k with all discounts and incentives. Haven't seen a better deal than that.

Love my 23 F150 Lightning Lariat ER. It was cheaper ($59,650) and way more options than its ICE counterpart. No regrets!!!! Amazing truck!
  • @LarryRichelli
I picked one up and love it! Kyle from Out of Spec reviews, after doing over 1000 miles in a lightning, now considers it the best road tripping EV!

Great video. I just picked up my very discounted Lightning Lariat standard range for $64000. Charge cost during regular hours including hydro delivery fee is about 12 cents kWh. That means I can run my truck (which is amazing fast and smooth) for about 25 bucks a month 800km per month. And we have off peak rates here as low as 3-4 cents per kWh delivery included in Ontario during overnight. I’m laughing all the way to the bank and having a ton of fun doing it!!! I had a gas ford expedition then went to a Chevy volt (great car!) and finally back to a full size vehicle for insanely cheap!!!! Loving it!!

Good video! Drove my 2022 Ford Mach-e to work today and passed another Lightning. Nice truck. Still too big for me. BUT - I just looked at the gas prices today. At $4.52 per gallon, it would have taken $117 for me to fill up my 2006 Chevy Avalanche, a truck I drove
for 180,000 miles before selling it. As for a power outage, it was 2007 when I had the last outage at my house. Not so concerned with
that. I think you need to address the average truck user - not everyone tows a 15,000 pound trailer every weekend. In fact, when I had the Avalanche, I only towed maybe 20 times in the 12 years I owned it.

What a great video , 1000 subscribers , you're so close . Count me in! Your video was way more informative than any big name channels i've seen to date!
  • I absolutely LOVE your content. Thank you for what you do. I just took delivery of my 2023 xlt. I live in MIssissippi and our charging network is TERRIBLE. That being said, my commute is about 2miles and I have a charger at both my house and business(offer free charging for customers). I received roughly 15,000 off msrp from my dealer mainly because they don’t sell in MS.
  • Newly subscribed, loving the channel so far as a previous ranger/f150 now model y driver from Canada too. Keep up the great work!
  • @WanderingWatts
Thanks for making this video!! I’m one of those Rivian owners, but would own a Lightning in a moment if I needed the larger bed and size. The R1T is my first EV and I agree on all your points. Most people will catch on eventually to how great these vehicles are to live with.
  • @Brockdorf
Cant wait for you video that tells why you should buy one.
  • @tylermason3741
Bought a used factory buyback Lariat ER and have been loving it so far
  • @MasterBun4You
Awesome and agree with all your points. Only part I disagree with is the math used for calculating the savings between charging at home vs gas. You used the gas price average but used your special overnight/downtime electric pricing. You should had used the average of that as well. Although a small point, the savings still favor the electric truck.
  • Hi there. Do you know if ford is planning to add a range extender for existing customers? I think i saw one of your videos talking about that. But is this really happening? Thanks for your videos and the information you share with us.
  • Great video. A new subscriber here. I got the 2023 xlt lightning standard range. I love it, it's an excellent truck. Useful and convenient.
  • Had to subscribe!! your combination of Snark, Sarcasm and Self deprecation had me rolling on the floor. Then throw in the cogent arguments against the fear mongering of self described experts.... Yeah I'm coming back for more!
  • @25matman1
Purchased a 22' Lariat ER with everything on it for 51k out the door, before any tax incentives. Great video, lots of good points, buyers will start catching on soon!
  • @joevigil5274
Great video on the 10 reasons to own this vehicle as experienced by a real owner user. Who would know better? None other than an owner who lives with it everyday. Maybe not for all, who own a truck but at least know why or why not to have an EV based on real life experience. Thanks for this presentation of the real life use of the Ford F150 Lightning.
  • @ModernCowboy78
The area I live in Missouri I have found lightning lariats extended for as low $49,000.
