Thank you Daniela and Naissa for sharing such a tender, complex and challenging chapter in your relationship. Such bravery and honesty. Showing it's still possible to communicate and love throughout pain and loss. Thank you to all those involved in bringing this documentary to the world. I'm sure it will resonate far and wide, comfort and inspire.
  • Such a moving and sensitively told powerful story. A beautifully shot documentary dance film, showing deep tenderness and the loving and painful bond between parent and child. Naissa’s dancing, exquisite and essential. A dance from the inside, it is clear. Bravo to all involved in making this short film.
  • So moving. Through all the pain, there is love and eloquence and respect.

Such honesty, hearfelt pain and intense love. Thank you for making and sharing this. Truely wonderful. Hoping the the continued journey brings you both and others in this situation joy as we grow in understanding of these matters. Wow, im still wiping away the tears not of sadness or joy but tears a mother cries for the love of her child.

I somewhat expected an issue of language to arise. Italian is a romance language and has no gender neutral terms for child or baby. Mamma has to choose whether to continue to call Naissa her daughter or switch and call her child…son. I noticed the switch because she did so while speaking English but I wonder about the thought process. Best wishes to both.

  • Such a fundamental inner knowing beyond all explanation 'I have always been here'. This is beautiful and so poetic and so honest.

The journey should be at least, at minimum 18 years.
