I had our fifth baby here at home without any assistance, and while it was a long and unpredictable labor, it went so well and I wouldn't change a thing!

Congratulations!! I know for a fact if you had been in the hospital they would have pushed you to get a c-section because you weren’t “progressing” as fast as they thought you should have been. This is just proof that we need to chill out and let our bodies do their thing!! On a different note, I’d love for you to continue to share your knowledge on pregnancy and birth. You are so knowledgeable and there just aren’t a lot of channels out there who can so eloquently talk about these topics. More women need to be empowered and informed in making their own choices when it comes to their labor and delivery.
  • I so so admire how unfazed you are at every stage of having a baby. How intune you are with your body and your baby. Im so blown away by your strength of character in not having any interference in your baby's birth. That you allow yourself to be just you and your baby having the experience together. I think it's absolutely beautiful 😊

A baby borne of laughter, he will be the bringer of joy and smiles to everyone he meets in his life ❤

Congratulations! I never had a baby, but it's clear to me that I don't want to give birth in a hospital—for several reasons. I absolutely admire the amount of confidence you have in this matter. I understand you were a nurse, and it's also your personality type, but it still amazes me how you handle these situations. It is such a natural process and yet society and medical professionals try to convince you that it is a disease you don't know anything about it and you need them to guide you! Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
  • "Congratulations!" "He is adorable!" I love the little newborn noises! What a miracle!❤👣❤️So happy he's here! Awesome job Mama!🤗

Congratulations! I'm a single older guy with no plans for having kids, but I love to hear a story like yours. My point being, is that we are not alike in that regard but very much respect your journey, and contribution to society.
  • Love homebithing!!!!! I loved my wonderful midwives that sat and knitted in the corner until I said I'm ready to deliver...such precious memories 💖

My second baby had a cord over 3ft long too. He had the cord wrapped around his neck 4 times and he was purple and not breathing when he came out. It was a hospital induction birth and it was a horrific experience. He is a happy and normal 11 year old boy now.

Yep 2 membranes! Some clear waters are no worries and no reason to rush 😊 way to go Steph 🙌🏼 this is why birth education matters and is a huge part of good birth support!

Wow girl you are a super mom! I haven't even watched the video ...just saw it pop up with you holding your little one. ❤ 🎉congratulations! What a beautiful blessing.
  • Congratulations!! I also have a week old baby as well. She came out at 41 + 2. My second VBAC! It’s such a blissful and amazing time. Thank you for sharing this experience with all of us❤

Congratulations Steph 🥰🥰🥰 you are a real Wild Woman who has a knowing that has been taken away from woman due to the controlled medical industry. I live vicariously through you dreaming of what could have been for me when I had my kids 30 years ago. I love that you teach the next generations to become empowered with their own inner knowledge that is there buried deep inside our soul. Enjoy your divine little man……thanks for sharing 🙏🥰
  • Congratulations! He's absolutely beautiful! Very interesting birth story! I had my 5th last November! 😊 For any mama's considering drinking castor oil, you don't need to do that! Take a generous handful of it and massage it in circles on your tummy then put a towel over it to keep it from getting messy and reapply as needed every couple hours! Castor oil penetrates deeply and putting it on your tummy like that won't make you have uncontrollable diarrhea

Unrelated but that bed!! The design is to die for!
  • “My contractions were super strong, so I got up and made pancakes” 😂😂 it is so amazing how much strength the Lord gives us mothers and also how much we don’t even realize it I’m 37 weeks and I’m watching this and other home birth videos to prepare myself emotionally and mentally. This is my 9th baby but I need these reminders of our strength our endurance our God given abilities to bring these beautiful babies into the world Thank you so much for sharing ❤❤

Congrats Mama! Thanks so much for sharing! I’m currently 40w 1d & this is such an encouragement to hear. We’re having an unassisted birth as well & I’m going to have my husband listen to your story. Welcome to the world Freddy!
  • So proud of you, Steph, for allowing your body to do what God designed it to do. I'm 65 and had my last 3 in a time when women were given no say in trying vaginal birth after C-section, so I really enjoyed hearing your birth story and have to tell you I believe you to be the first Mom I've ever heard tell of her deliberate, unassisted home birth! 🥰 Congratulations to you all on the birth of Freddie! Looking forward to watching him grow right along with your other children. God's blessings be upon you and your household, and a very blessed Happy Easter wish to you all! 🙏🌷🪻❤
  • Awww Steph! I had a couple people comment on my channel to come watch this because I JUST released my home birth video last week and I too had a triple nuchal cord!!! I'm so glad your birth went well. Enjoy this postpartum bliss!!
