  • I love these videos. I followed his instructions to a T. Started in October 2017 and now it's October 2019. Many milestones have passed....lost my job, wife left me, lost 60 lbs...but I'm now onto my second door! So yay me!
  • Thank you so much for this detailed, step by step instruction. You have convinced my husband to take his car in to a professional to get painted. Again, thank you.

legend has it that if you visit the eastwood company workshop, you can hear the ghosts of all the workers who died before they could finish sanding their door
  • When you are done you can see the reflection of a penny in your new paint job, because that's all you'll have left. But seriously, now I understand why a nice paint job cost so much.
  • My great great grandfather started this process and it has been passed along every generation, I was brought up by my dad with this door helping him sand every day. We reached step 3 today, but no time for celebration, we must sand more. My life is just that...that door... there is no end... For the love of God send help, please.

Thanks so much for this video. I am restoring an 88" Ford F150 for my son who is in the Army. I haven't painted a car in over 50 years and your clear instructions are exactly what I need.

True Story: This man was 18 when he started the process of painting the door. He is now a proud father and grandfather. His two kids have started families of their own and begun the simple 4-step process of painting a car door too. God bless them.

  • I just painted a car little over a month ago. Turns out it’s easy. I used 2 stage and came out like it was dipped like glass. The real skill is in the prep.
