Thank you for everything you do for the Tekken community 🙏 keep up the amazing work coach
  • @ZCxRaideR
I have to say, thank you so much for the videos you’ve been doing. Thanks to you I’m finally understanding Tekken and fighting game mechanics and language as a whole. Because of you I’m finally playing Tekken rather than just watching. Finally understanding what I’m doing wrong when playing and actually learning.

“Do I have to worry about his lows?” Phi- “no he has to hit a lot unless u get counter hit” proceeds to get counter hit 😂😂😂
  • @thenewasuka
His comic avatar overlayed on PhiDX's camera feed, lighting up when speaking and having accurate mouth movements but always the same facial expression no matter how intense the situation, cracks me up 😂😂
  • @Sicknificant1
I love how it is like he is sitting on your lap or something bc of the avatars overlay. Gives it Tekken grandfatherly advice vibes.
  • @Cenowy
i don't even play this game, but i'm here either way
  • @RuTo94
I honestly think OfflineTv brought a lot of new players to Tekken and I’m all for it ❤
  • @JPROP-vb7sv
As a 20-year veteran of Tekken I'll say this. He learns very quick and if he sticks with it, he will become an amazing player.
  • @tekkenpunishment
23:36 the best part of this video is when Masayoshi understands that negative frame data means he can punish! 😃
  • @lurtz8656
Genuinely the best T8 content creation happening now, I love how much support there's been here for new people hopping into Tekken
  • @coten
i love how you're showing folks how to use training mode more effectively! it was fun to hear Masayoshi popping off whenever you showed off something he hadn't tried before, or explained a part of the interface that wasn't clear! now that i think about it, the idea of "recording actions" for the opposing character in a practice setting, and "playing them back" at the player's demand, isn't really possible in many other genres of games. (maybe racing games?) clear demonstrations of how that works, and how powerful these recordings can be for training, would be very helpful for players who are new to fighting games.
  • @maple.leaves.
Thanks for explaining so cleanly the function of punishment, and demonstrating some of the deeper tools in practice mode. Excited to put this stuff into practice!
  • @josiahmillan434
Watched this video. Proceeded to win 90% of my next matches . Promoted to Raijin in an hour after being hard stuck fujin for weeks.. Game gets so much easier. Wow great video.
  • @neorickio
This was fun as hell to watch. I'm on Red ranks as well, and although I know about these things, it's incredible how I've been neglecting basic fundamentals (and of course, struggling...) Keep it up!
  • @luis.7chacon
OHHHHH! A lot of things make sense now. It feels so good to learn with people at my level.
  • Very fun to watch you pick up on a flaw and workshop it with a less experienced (but talented) player. The lightbulb moment when you explained the guaranteed damage from the red -13 move was also really cool. Also very good to know the general knowledge of lows being unsafe (as always with a few exceptions), that gives me a clear goal for the next few days, punish the lows instead of just blocking them. Props to OfflineTv for stepping outside of their normal games and really embracing the Tekken 8 stuff.
  • @RiskierGoose340
At this point PhiDX is like a college professor who puts videos of his lectures online for people to watch.
  • @Prophet414
Dude your videos are so helpful even just listening
