  • As an animal control officer, I've grown to love them so much! They are fiercely loyal. I compare them to all the protective breeds. German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Doberman and Chows. Unfortunately they're so over bred and irresponsible ppl get them. I love them!❤️
  • I am 70 years old and I have always been terrified of pit bulls. Then a neighbor moved down the road, we live in the country. 2 years ago this crazy scary pit bull ran up to my 5 week old 1/2 Golden 1/2 Lab retriever, and they have been sweethearts ever since. Thank goodness they are both fixed or we would have silly looking puppies. Sometimes I call my buddy and ask “ can Wiley spend the night? “ I absolutely love this pit bull.

Found out while volunteering at a shelter what a wonderful breed this is. We later fostered a little girl. Within two weeks she was ours. Love her to pieces. She is special

As a pit owner, she would follow me into a burning house. I have never felt so complete when I'm around my Mochi. Everything Lee has said fits the description to a "t." When I was engulfed in darkness, she was the beacon of light that saved me from fading away. If she only knew how much I love her. She is embedded in my soul and I thank God everyday for blessing me with this Ray of sunshine. All dogs most certainly do possess a soul and it's so beautiful.

We just adopted a beautiful specimen of a pit bull. He is paraplegic and built like a line backer. He came from a method house and was abused resulting in the paralysis. He has chronic wounds on his legs and will become a double amputee Sept 13th. He will be so much happier and healthier and be able to get around so much better without his wheelchair. He is such a honey and listens well and is truly a good boy. His name is Brody.

Almost 8 years ago, I decided to finally get a dog. I googled all I could find on dogs. Then I googled breeds. I decided to get a pitbull because they are basically the underdog, if you will. I found a blue nose pitbull puppy and named him Hawk. He has been the absolute sweetest dog I have ever met. He loves everyone and loves cats. I trust him more than my cat lol He is the sweetest, most loyal dog ever.
  • I love senior dogs. I keep them until the cross over, then find another senior that needs a good home. I'm a senior myself and choose dogs that don't need high energy imput. All my senior fur babies come from the shelter.
  • It's heart breaking at how many pits are in shelters. They are such beautiful and loyal dogs. Thank you for sharing your experience with these wonderful dogs.

My cousin has two pit bulls and they’re really sweet. My old neighbors had a pit Bull they kept on a chain,I used to give him water and food on occasions since I don’t think they gave him much of either,he liked me,never scared me. It’s the humans that mistreat them, not the breed.

I love all pitties I've ever been around. It's the owner not the dog

So very true...every word. I owned a pitbull for 15 years. There is such a connection. On the deepest level. He was the joy of my life. So gentle. He never bit anyone or showed his teeth in a growl. He was so smart too and loving. He was perfect. He passed away a year ago and I miss him so much. Loved him more than you can imagine. RIP Wally.
  • Our 95lb pit mix was afraid of running water-streams, and wood flooring. As for spatial awareness, he had none, a lapdog for life. A huge brindle boy who just wanted to be wherever his Mama was. Upstairs and down, taking over the bed, giant head in my lap at tv time. His emotional intelligence, and empathy towards his family was amazing to see. How my then 2yo grandson could boss him around:) As for protective, yes, he did need Me to protect him :) Miss that big boy everyday.

I miss Stella so much. She was my first Pittie encounter and what a beautiful encounter it was. I met her at a Asher house meet and greet she was on the R.V. couch, I sat next to her and oh what kisses and snuggles I got! At that very moment she entered my heart and never left I miss her very much.😔 I'm sorry to say I never had the pleasure to meet Sammy or Jack but some day I hope to meet Rollie!! I love when you talk about your pack and the different breeds, you get so excited sending love!!❤️❤️❤️
  • My bf and I adopted a pitbull puppy from a shelter about 3 years ago. My bf takes her out to the open spaces for a 5-7 mile walk every morning. She is the sweetest, kindest dog I have ever owned. She can body slam other dogs as a way to play, but she’s getting better about it. She is bursting with personality and sassiness and makes me laugh all the time. Thanks for your message … the public needs to hear this over and over again.

I had a pitbull - the biggest ball of love. He was so emotionally in-tune and aware. So incredibly loving of everyone - cats, dogs, kids... everyone. I believe that it is the most misunderstood and abused breed on the planet. They are intelligent and cannot just be left in the backyard “for protection”. They NEED socializing, they NEED walks, and human interaction. They NEED protection from harm just like every living being.

You said a mouthful there “there is not another dog that will make you laugh like a pit bull will”. My baby is an angel sent from Jesus and she literally laughs with me when she does something goofy 🤣🥰❤️
  • My neighbors moved in several years ago. I was frightened of their Pit Bull..in the beginning. Now I love this kind, loving beautiful soul! ❤️
  • Lee, there are so many things I would like to say in response to this Vlog. But the most important is THANK YOU for addressing the beautiful Pitbull in such a heartfelt manner.
  • That was a wonderful promotion for pit bulls, Lee. You did them a good turn in giving very wise and encouraging advice to prospective carers. I hope many are adopted.❤️
  • Our pit mix used to fall off the couch and look at us like we had pushed her off. She just had no idea where her butt was…unless she wanted you to hit the base of her tail where she had dry skin. She was a big story teller too, usually about how we weren’t giving her the table scraps she could smell. We called it her “Every body hates me, nobody loves me, I might as well go eat worms” story. She didn’t have any brakes either. She would come at you full tilt and you had to put your knee into her chest to stop her. She also loved hide and seek, especially once we moved from an apartment to a house with a yard.
