South Korea has condemned a defense pact that North Korea signed with Russia earlier this week. The foreign ministry called it a threat to "peace and stability on the Korean peninsula". Seoul summoned Russia's ambassador to the foreign ministry to discuss its concerns. While the details of the military pact are still unclear, South Korea is worried that it could encourage North Korean aggression. Seoul announced in response that it was considering sending weapons to Ukraine to support its defense against Russia.

  • So let me get this right Russia can go to N Korea for help but S Korea can’t help Ukraine…Russia sounds dumb…
  • So Russia can support North Korea but South Korea can't support Ukraine?
  • as a russian I would be ashamed of what type of friends my country has....N-Korea , oh my God
  • Russia asking North Korea for weapons is hilarious😅😂😊
  • @zollen123
Putin the Master Strategist another brilliant move, South Korea now considering sending weapons to Ukraine!
  • @dukeyang9210
South Korea sends weapons to Ukraine, North Korea sends weapons to Russia. So, that’s a proxy war of the two Koreas.
  • They should… and Putin was saying that there will be consequences if they do so while he is providing technology and weapons to the north. Putin is such a joke
  • What Seoul should say: "Mistake, you say, Mr. Putin? Now that you mention it, there does seem to be something wrong with the weapons package we were considering. It's too small. Thank you for pointing that out. It's double now."
  • @Ario_00
This is not a simple issue. North Korea has been under economic sanctions since 1993 due to its withdrawal from the NPT, but Putin ignored this situation. Soon, you will see news about South Korea starting to develop nuclear weapons. Thanks, Putin.

Putin would threaten " Dire consequences " if his pizza delivery didn't make it under 30 min .
  • Putin is seriously lacking as a strategist with his actions pushing Finland and Sweden to join NATO and now encouraging South Korea to give arms to Ukraine. That was foreseeable considering that Putin has relied heavily on military action coupled with Western democracies indifference to achieve foreign policy objectives.
  • @SAapproves
Actually South Korea said they considering providing Ukraine weapons before Russia & NK deal upon Russia saying they will provide North Korea with arms SK summoned Russian Ambassador.
  • It shows how desperate Putin is that he is turning to North Korea for help Meanwhile he is galvanizing much of East Asia behind support for Ukraine All in all I think that he is picking up more problems than he is solving by turning to North Korea South Korea has the better arms industry, economy and sense of purpose in general Add to that that his alliance with North Korea is also going to tick off the Japanese and possibly the Australians and other nations in the Indo-Pacific region He's gaining more enemies than allies
  • @Howdy606
Huge moral difference of sending weapons to a country (Ukraine), that is being invaded, to countries sending weapons to help the invader (Russia).
  • @mikemann2053
Well done South Korea. Stand up to the Evil Twin Dwarfs.
  • South Korea should disregard Putin threat and send weapons to Ukraine in response to Putin plans with North Korea.
