Ah so glad to see someone else loving this tablet! Been using the 15.6pro for over a year now. I’ve used Wacom before but this tablet in my opinion is far better, best part being the pen nib doesn’t wear down anywhere near as fast. Scroll wheel works fine for me, so it might be another tablet driver interfering with your software.

I've never used the XP Pen Tablets, but I'm very found of my Huions and I wouldn't trade them for any Wacom. Also, for the problem with drivers, one quick solution is uninstalling all the drivers for the old tablets and using a software like iobit uninstaller to remove the remaining traces of it on the computer and also remove the drivers for unused USB Devices. Works 99,9% of the times. Amazing content as always Nips! Big fan of your work, thanks for all the inspiration!
  • I’ve only ever used XPPEN tablets and I’ve been using the 15.6 for around three years! I will say the issue about the pen buttons you mentioned definitely happens to me too. It’s probably my biggest pet peeve with XPPEN, but I’ve been able to deal with it because of the rest of the pros of the tablet.

This is the exact same tablet I bought for my ex-gf 2 years ago to give her an upgrade to a screen tablet - after hours and hours of research. This is really as good as it gets if you don't want to spend ~$1,000 on a premium Wacom - the gripes with the XP-Pen Artist 15.6 pro are very few and very minor. It's a great deal and if your budget is ~$500 its the best out there.

im using this tablet since april for graphic design and im really happy. The price was great, the performance is really good (need some color correction/calibration for high end retouch) my biggest problem is serious scratches in the screen. I know you can buy screen protectors but they are not aviable in my country, are impossible to find, and there is no official suport in here.
  • That's the Tablet I have ! I switched from a wacom intuous small for it for half the price of a bigger intuous without a screen. Xp-pen is more cheap but the quality is there, yes this brand has it's cons like the brand is know to not read light strokes but I have a heavy hand so it doesn't bother me. But the screen is very nice and the pen case is a life saver for me. I'm very happy with it

Oh my lord! I've been searching for this channel for so long! I watched your videos religiously in 2020 and for some reason lost your channel! After searching all year, this just showed up on my home page! I'm so damn happy! 😭😭

I have an Xp-pen tablet without a screen and the bouciness of the tip is not in your head lol. It's because it has a spring inside so that's what makes it move as you press more. Xp-pen has a new stylus for their Xp-pen artist 2nd gen tablets that is thinner and doesn't have a bouncy tip. Personally it doesn't bother me, Im used to drawing with ballpoint pens and it reminds me of that but some people don't like it.
  • Great video I'm just fan of xp pen I already have xp pen tablet but its no display tablet but I just love this

Ha! I was thinking of buying this tablet for a while as my first of this kind. I’m an architect and thinking of trying illustration as a career. I’m watching different reviews of this tablet and then you say you moved to Serbia, my home country lol, and I moved to the UK. Immediately hit the subscribe button, I’ll defo check your other videos. Many regards from Scotland 😊
  • I love this tablet been using for it two years it's best thing ever bought 😁😁😁

I use the 22E pro and love it due to its VESA Mount. Bought the cheapest Mount for under $30 on Amazon and it works great. I couldn’t go back to a smaller tablet not because of the size, but due to the lack of vesa mounting. I can position the tablet at an angle above my mouse when I’m using it and like a normal display when I’m not drawing. My mom was looking for something to modify images into coloring pages for her class so I recommend the 15.6 artist pro for her to use. After using it myself, my favorite feature is definitely the wheel for changing brush sizes. It’s a feature I wish my 22E pro had. I personally don’t use the other shortcut buttons as I like my keyboard shortcuts, but adjusting brush sizes or zoom just feels better on a wheel then spamming a key. Though the Huion Remote is a great stand-in for this feature for a crazy cheap $20 (good macro pads are hard to find for under $50)

Never thought you would do a tablet review from Xp-pen! This is one of the models I've ben looking to get so your review rally came in handy!

For traditional artist or people who used to draw freely with clean lines on "clean" background 15 inch etched display is super small and very "dirty". Even 24 inch 4k is a bit small, 27 inch 4k would be perfect, but most of "top" tablets got bad etched glass, even wacom.. Very bad. Some people dont see much, but holy cow its bad. I pad looks perfect, but its good for portability and not a tabletop thing mostly. Any way so costly for wired monitor with that quality.. I hardly understand people, but happy to see people use it and happy.

I picked up an XPPEN Artist Pro 24 a couple of years back, I had so much trouble setting it up on a Mac. The guidance on how to do it wasn't great, ended up following a bunch of videos to get it sroted. another issue I had was my settings getting wiped randomly, or the penactuating at a different point to where I was drawing, a lot of troubleshooting went into resolving everything. That all being said, they did release some new software that made it better, but my feelings were already coloured by my experience so I'll stick with Wacom next time.
