Dreamcast guy fanboying again. Showing false numbers for switch. Switch is at nearly 150 million not 111. It’s on track to sell 160+ million. Ps5 is tracking way behind that. 60+ million in 4 years vs 150 million in 7 years. Sony would be at about 110 million in 7 years at best.

Also, why aren't you talking about the fact that the Switch is currently outselling the PS5 weekly in Japan, where it is doing an average of 210,000 unit sales a month there since Jan 2024, similar to PS5 monthly sales in the USA?

Nintendo - $3 billion (2024) Sony Game & Network Services division - $1.9 billion (2024) Microsoft Xbox division - Microsoft does NOT disclose the "profits" of Xbox because there isn't any. interesting that you had to ask for these PROFIT numbers because they aren't easy to find. As a Playstation player since 1998, it would hate to see the Xbox consoles dissapear. The reason Sony makes an effort is because they have competition. If the competition goes under, Sony will also make less of an effort.

"They're(PS5) at 60 Million is just 4 years?": In March 2021, 4 years after the release of the Switch in March 2017, the system sold just under 83 Million units. "The PlayStation is still just getting started: If it takes them 4 years to get started on a $500 console with overpriced peripherals, such as the $500 PSVR2 that they've essentially given up on now, that doesn't bode well for their future endeavors.

This is why I warned you, DO NOT bring up Switch in your CRINGE console war. The facts your audience will see about Nintendo will scare them. Nintendo is making its biggest profits in its entire history, its making nearly DOUBLE the profits of Sony Interactive Entertainment and Nintendo now has Sony not only making games for Switch, they have Sony working for them making movies (Zelda).
