0:33, Jake got a whole pizza for just Hitchcock and Scully. No wonder Scully keeps calling him Jakey.

This is one of the most intense episodes without actually showing an intense scene. Clever directing and amazing acting

It says a lot about how Rosa was feeling when she didn't even try to reject the hug from Jake and what's more she immediately hugged him back.

    - Rosa, you know I hate pranks. - You love pranks. - I do. I really do.
  • @Jormbis
I really really love the bromance between Rosa and Jake.
  • One of my favourite episodes. Intense, no way to tell if she was going to be safe, so sweet when Rosa hugged Amy and Gina at the end

Brooklyn 99 may be a comedy but like scrubs it definitely knows how to hit on the emotional moments. Boyle getting shot, this entire episode, and multiple other moments are examples of that

“I don’t have kids yet” implies he was thinking about them before Amy convinced him to have Mac
  • “Yeah well next time think!” “About what?” “I don’t know!” “Ok Jakey” I love that part so much

"Were you guys worried about me or something?" Hugging her tighter "No" I feel like that little moment really captures their relationship
  • I love how boyle tries to make jake not so worried about his possible death by telling that BLATANT lie that he would actually EVER get over jakes death.

I love how he casually gave Hitchcock and scully their own pizza.

Rosa and Jake's friendship never fails to make me emotional, they're amazing :')

Dear Youtube, that pizza was bland and disgusting. Sincerely, Raymond Holt

We all know Rosa, she doesn't do hugs or emotions, but when she hugs you back, that means she really needed it and that she was scared for her life I can imagine :) I love her so much <3 Here's the thing also, Rosa can be sweet and loving when she wants to be
  • @wheelyjon
I think that has to be the most touching line I've seen in awhile yes Charles you too that's real love and friendship

Makes me mad that this wasn't addressed again and was quickly forgotten.

This episode is just another amazing episode in the masterpiece that is Brooklyn 99, it perfectly captures how people, not just cops, react to their friend in a terrible situation like this, what’s better is that you can see Rosa still shaken by what happened, it’s subtle but there, which makes sense for her character, this was an amazing episode, one that we will never forget.
