Hey Lenny! This is one amazing podcast. My heart was so full after this. I am personally trying the curiosity loop myself. I plan to mail Ada once that works out. Apart from this, I would like to share two things Ada said that will be with me for a long time. 1. The fact that Ada asks the question, 'What is a common misconception people have about you?' 2. "There is so much risk in giving feedback like that the default is to avoid. But the person never learns their course."

I loved the "Explore & Exploit" framework, however, I have to say that the values exercise (which I completed) needs to be presented with a couple side notes. While it does generally help articulate one's core values, that specific process of picking the top 5 from the list and then ranking them would mainly reflect one's current state depending on where they are on their personal/professional journey. One issue I'm having with these types of exercises is that they're framed under the "values for life" vision where is in reality we as humans tend to evolve and our values/priorities can shift over time(sometimes quite significantly). For anyone looking for an actionable decision-making framework also highly recommend Lenny's recent interview with Nikita Miller where she talks about the "What are you optimizing for now?" mindset along with the "What are you willing to temporarily give up/deprioritize to get it". I've found this approach to be very helpful when faced with a dilemma/conflicting decision to make. Remembering that career decisions are not made for life also helps to commit to one option and agreeing with yourself that you will re-evaluate 2-3 years from now. Great episode overall though!
